    In today's session we will be doing a grounding and powerful breathwork to connect us to our own inner strength, resilience and unwavering determination. A strong breath is recommended for the in and then just let the exhale go. It's encouraged to either lay down or sit straight up, being conscious about what is most nourishing and comfortable to your body - comfort is queen.
    Throughout our 3 rounds of powerful breathing, remember that when the mind wanders.. at any time you can come back to your breath and refocus on the present. Let all that arises welcomed by you - create space and allow the breathing to connect you to your inner strength.

    SAFETY DISCLAIMER
    Please be aware that sessions can cause and are not limited to:
    Tingling.
    Dizziness.
    Trembling, shaking or other physical sensations.
    Emotional experiences.
    Experience of energy moving through your body.
    As a precaution, the following conditions are contraindicated for anyone thinking of practicing active breathwork:
    Pregnancy especially first trimester
    High blood pressure (not controlled with medication)
    Cardiovascular disease including angina, previous heart attack or stroke.
    Uncontrolled thyroid conditions and diabetes.
    Epilepsy / seizures.
    Any other medical, psychiatric or physical conditions which would impair or affect ability to engage in any activities that involve intense physical and/or emotional release - talk to your doctor before practicing.
    Finally, never do breathwork while operating any heavy machinery, whilst in water or any other circumstance where losing consciousness may cause harm to you or others.

    Question , do you ever do longer breath retentions?

      Yes I do! I have a couple videos with 3 minute retentions (the most recent Wim Hof Method comes to mind). In my private practice I often hit 3 or 4 minute retentions. Would you like more videos with longer retentions/more rounds?
