My father was born on Halloween in 1969. I was born of October 1st. We lived in Illinois, Halloween is our favorite holiday, we believe in the paranormal, we celebrate the Day of the Dead, and I still trick or treat even though some would say I'm "too old" If that's not cursed I don't know what is
"I got a rock" I'm rather surprised that you totally neglected the Charlie Brown TV special. It's a freakin classic here across the pond. To this day it's still a Halloween tradition to watch.
Hey Sam, I know your channel has been going on for a while and it might not be as popular as you would have hoped but just remember that all the people who do watch your video thoroughly enjoy it and me included, I always enjoy a good TH-cam channel like this and keep up the great work
What I don't get is that this video was made 6 years ago and it said 2020 (but 2020 wasn't 6 years ago, it was 4, so the video would have to have been made in 2018 for it to have been made 6 years ago)
My friends' son was born on Halloween. The mum was wearing a costume that had blood-soaked doll arms attached to it to make it look like the baby was trying to break out of her belly, so when she started getting contractions it took us almost a whole minute to realize that she was not just doing an act.
I had a black cat with a white chest, white paws, and (I think) a white tipped tail. His name was Salem. My bestfriend at the time. We took him to my mom house and he ran out the front door when the retards left it open for too long. He wasn't familiar with her house, but we'd let him outside of my grandma's house and he'd always come home. The day they lost him was the day I lost my heart.
Love that. If you see a spider on Halloween a loved one passed is watching over you. But will that still apply if I own many spiders and will see spiders on halloween? Or dose it have to be a wild spider🕷 ?
I was going to go as a goat-headed demon for Halloween this year, but the mask I bought turned out to have poor visibility, making it impossible to wear and walk around. As such, I think I'll go as Jason Voorhees or an oni demon again this year (I have masks for both), and next year, I think I'll wear something that I know I can see out of! Anyway, Happy Halloween, and please do 101 Facts about: 1. Stephen King 2. Sailor Moon 3. Ballet 4. King Arthur 5. Lucifer (TV series)
This premiere thing is really annoying, I would prefer to get notified when the video is out, rather than X amount of hours before - which is utterly pointless. I hope this doesn't become a regular thing on this channel... EDIT: Upon the advise of @RAM TUBE, like if you agree - so Sam sees this
@@vcvcf1896 No, I did not know that - I hadn't noticed. The premiere thing is still annoying, when I see the notification I expect that I am able to watch the video - that is the function of the feature. As a Pagan, I want to say thank you so much for mentioning the truth behind Samhain (1:08-1:39) and what witches actually are (4:49). So much misinformation among the general public, and even fear-mongering in certain Christian circles, is spread about our faith around this time of year that it's nice to see someone tell it like it is. Thanks again. Happy Halloween to everyone, and to my fellow celebrators, a blessed and bountiful Samhain.
I'm trying to write a paper on Samhain and the gentrification of holidays like it that have been commercialised and made profitable by various methods of appropriation whilst discrediting the origin and diluting the history of religions and cultures in the process. HOWEVER getting facts and being able to cite sources that are not a part of the problem is well...the problem. Would any of you be willing to talk to me about the true origins and celebrations historical, how and why these things have been misinterpreted or criminalised, how they changed and became a method of marketing Comercial products in guise of holiday tradition and how you are trying to preserve the actual history of Samhain in your own life. If so would you please reach out to me? Thanks, you can msg me on here, email, snap, or DM me on instagram (my username is the same on most social media including my email) I don't want to write a paper that just sounds good and is easy to throw together in a few hours. Hey! Don’t knock out American candy! Reese’s is the best candy out there. I will admit that there are WAY better chocolates than Hershey, though, but it gets a little expensive.
I disagree, no way anything can be good when it's mixed with peanut butter and New Zealand lollies are the best to have on Halloween and any time of the year (American candy is the worst, I don't know what you people are thinking when you like them)
@ well, then I probably need to find a good resource for international candy. I’ve mainly had candy from Sweden, but that’s bc someone that I know went there on a band trip, and brought some home. Otherwise, I eat what I’m familiar with.
