My father was also having gliostoma stage 4, underwent surgery and treatment . It’s been 2 years his tumour has not grown but due to surgery he is not fully active but does all his work properly
@@shruthinayak8203 i pray for his completely recovery. i wanted the doctor to operate and remove the tumor at any cost but my mom's maternal family members are close to the hospital management at AJ HOSPITAL Manguluru, they some how persuaded the neurologist to not operate, he just did biopsy and when that was done because they opened or made a small hole in the skull the pressure that was created inside the skull and on the brain by the tumor was released and for a couple of weeks she was releaved from headache, but I was not happy with the procedure i went to a doctor in sakra Bengaluru who has operated on a child's brain while he was playing guitar to seek his opinion I tried to seek online opinion through video call but they wanted to see her in-person this was in June 2019 just before lockdown , doctors were not willing to do online consultation, yet 😕! He said , he won't be able to operate and advised me to wait for the biopsy result until then I was not expecting it to be cancerous but the doctors knew what it was just by seeing the MRI scans. Her condition started to deteriorate rapidly . I desperately wanted the doctors to operate her brain no matter what , i consulted researchers at IISC AND NIMHANS akk of them are familiar with each other as they are in the same field , they advised me to continue the treatment at the mangaluru dr. But her maternal family refused and didn't want to see her taking chemotherapy, and as the tumor started to grow all her motor ability and incontinence everything made the situation worse than a post chemo state of any patient , she was prescribed dexamethasone later i learnt it's a steroid after 2.5 months her body weight increased because of the steroids on telephone her Mangalore doctor advised to stop giving dexamethasone within two days of that she passed away.
