Yesterday I went to the gacha to try to get basil pesto cookies and I got it twice in the same run now I have him at two stars but this has never happened to me before with any gacha
question. What's the difference between elemental attack, attack, and elemental damage and why is it reccomended to build elemental attack over attack?
So you could talk more generally about the logic of builds, I think that would be useful for the audience. If the kit and artifact leans ATK, items should favor Ele dmg boost. If the kit and artifact leans Ele dmg, items should favor ATK. You want to spread stats around to avoid diminishing returns. As it stands Sus hunter is the best for pretty much any cookie that can crit right now.
I did talk about the logic of builds though. Because he gets Crit Rate from his kit and artifact, and Ele DMG from his artifact, he doesn't want either, favoring Crit DMG and attack. I explained why all viable sets were viable, same with the artifacts, and even the hidden powers. Only thing I could add is that you want A Crit Rate roll when building sets that aren't suspicious hunter. Diminishing returns don't exist in ToA, you simply just build to maximize damage, not avoid stats because you might build "too much" of it with lower return. Also sus hunter isn't the best set for pretty much cookie who can crit, it just HAPPENS to be because all all of them are basic attack DPS (Soda and DC don't want sus hunter because of their playstyles)... Also the new sets have the same stat distribution, just for Ultimates and Specials, meaning any future DPS who don't have emphasis on basic attacks may want those.
I was a little uninformed when I made that part but, I'm technically right. So I guess what I meant to say is that Elemental DMG HIDDEN POWERS are specifically worse. The max roll for Ele DMG hidden powers is 15%, while ATK is 20% (meaning you never wanna run Ele DMG hidden powers). So that's why Basil's artifact gives elemental dmg, it's technically not worse unless it's a hidden power. That does also work in his favor, because it means any extra ATK buffs (like Rockstar ultimate) will actually affect him more than if it was ATK on his artifact. So yeah, a mistake on my part, but there's the actual answer.
you can typically look at the ranking leaderboards to see what people are using. It’s a little tedious, but probably the best way to get up to date information on what some of the top players are using

Thanks for guide. What should we do as rotation ? Special > ulti ? Or ulti when its open ?
is his artifact good for jalapeno? if i didnt have jalapeno artifact
His artifact doesn't work on Jalapeno because she's not a Smash attack type cookie.
Hey, just a question, if atk is a better stat than elemental DMG, why does BP's artifact give elemental DMG than afk?
