There are slight differences between PS1 and PC. For instance road signs and billboards in some places they differ. Moto Racer and Moto Racer 2 on PS1 in 4K visually will look the same as Moto Racer World Tour.
moto racer 1 hands down best game of the whole series. the other games just dont look or play that crisp like the good old moto racer 1 on the playstation. good memories. i remember even my mom playing it once and commenting on the nice views besides the race tracks.
Moto Racer 1 will always be the best, in my opinion. It's fast, fun, and the music slaps harder than I slap yo mama's ass... I kid at the last part, but it slaps.
for some reason moto racer 1 looked like it is the more polished and decent (for that time period) game.. seemed easier gameplay to digest compared to the newer ones. Moto Racer 3 looked okay. I think Milestone looked at Delphine Software International and thought to themselves - gawd they suck and releasing a good moto racing game... and they intervened
Moto Racer 1 was so good. There was a cool sensation when your bike would drop down a hill into a valley. I’m considering buying MR4 for my Xbox now. It’s pretty hard to top that first game though.
Personally, it feels like 1 to 2 is the only real "evolution" involved. Some look like straight up devolutions, especially World Tour and 15th Anniversary.

You often see with racing games as soon as they start to bring games with shooting, lasers or sifi weaons that the series is about to die
