आज मेरे पास पगारिया का ही पोर्टेबल R917 है जो कि एक शान्दार रेडियो है!🥰

लगभग एक माह पगारिया क्रेटा 3 band रेडियो का युज करने के बाद मै पुरे विश्वास के साथ कह सकता हूं कि यह रेडियो बहुत अच्छी है और साउंड क्वालिटी भी बेहतरीन है । बस कैबिनेट थोडी कमजोर है ।

Nice radio (wrt its price and multy facilities) and also a nice presentation.
Pagaria is presenting various products according to choice of listeners. Its all depend on the buyers that what they like!
I think, if a listener wants only a radio with reasonable basic radio requirements such as multy band selection, portability, sensitivity and a small but more than an average bluetooth speaker than R-917 is the best.
If a listener values more about audio quality comparable the well known brands of imported bluetooth speakers in a affordable price segment but can compromise only FM to listen local stations only then he can go with Pagara Grande.
This product can fulfill the requirements of table top radio lovers with compromising in many sections because one can't get everything with a budget price.
The plus point of this product is the longest whip antenna capable to receive many stations.

नहि सर फिलिप्स का परफॉनमन्स Mw और Sw पर ईतना इफेक्टिव्ह नहि हैं.
VEMAX अच्छा ऑप्शन मिला पर वो ज्यादा टिकेगा नहि.
इसलिये घर के रेग्युलर युज के लिये एक Analog लेना था अच्छा ब्रँड और परफॉनमन्स के लिये.
बाकी Dxing की कसर XHDATA D-808 भर देता हैं. ईतनाही बस.

Sir my grandfather bought a Phillips radio in 1989 nd since then he was using that radio But unfortunately it is not working properly now nd after visiting so many repairing shops it can't be repaired. So can you please tell me if this radio will be good for him ? He doesn't want any modifications like Bluetooth, led nothing as far as i know he just want a basic radio with fresh sound as he prefers to listen FM only. He lives in a remote area around 55 kms away from our fm station patna. So will this radio be good for him to listen fm?? ...or can you please suggest any kther radio which have best FM connectivity as he's quit far away from fm station. I'll be glad if you suggest my a good fm radio in 1500-2000 range. 😊
Hello Ankit ji. This Radio will be just perfact for him. This one is good for FM. He will like it because it is just like old Radios. Simple to operate.
He may not like the build quality in the first look as this Radio or any other modern Radios can't compete with earlier robust models of Philips.

Vijay ji, sorry, meri galti hai ek. Wo 32 GB ka card nahin tha jo maine play kiya tha, koyi 2 GB ka dusra card tha. Aur iski specifications kahti hain ki ye 16 GB ka card play kar sakta hai.

1. why good companies like Pagaria ,Deltron,Ramsons have kept TV bandwidth when they are of no use now.
2.Why they Don't add up designs like it used to be before as philips used to.
The Ibell is working on it however if they are copying sony radio design n case of model FM 180BT.
I think these companies are Not understanding the customer need and the market.
The india still has a good market for Radios.

Also, try to use another usb drive which is note not more than 32 GB.
Better to use a pen drive which 8 GB (may be, I am not sure how many GB pen drive is accepted by this Radio).

First time antenna broken nikla, so returned it
Nd second time antenna loose tha, aur tuning switch aur scale non calibrated tha, means 98.3 fm pakad leta tha tab jab tuner marker 100 ke upar tha.
So muje return karna pada.
Mujhe aisa lagta h ki pagaria ne yeh model band kia h, unke site par yeh sold out dikhta hai.
Flipkart par shayad ye returned ya warranty claimed products ko refurbish karke sell kar rahe h.
Mujhe ek radio chaiye within 2000 rs jisme following features ho, yeh muje mandatory chaiye
1. SD card ya usb me se both or any one
2. Bluetooth
3. FM / AM / SW band
Mai ab soch raha hu pagaria R-917 lu, but kya aapke pas iske alawa koi better option ho toh pls batana ji.

Uska Antenna loose nahin hai, ye additional feature hai, Antenaa mein neeche bend hai, agar gir jaaye to Antenna tootne ki jagah mud kar rah jaaye.
R-917 tab lein agar MW aapki priority hai aur 5 band tab lein agar FM aapki priority hai.
Aapki requirements mein aur achha option nahin fit hota.
Aap local shops par ja kar 500-600 mein koyi Radio la sakte hain jo Pagaria 5 band jaisa hoga par unti facilities nahin milengi aapko.
Waise iss channel par kayi kayi Radios ke video hain, aap dekhein aur apni priority chun lein.
Agar aap budget ko 3500 tak la sakein to Xhdata D-109 hai.

Yes I agree what you said. But unfortunately in my case antenna was really broken. Wo seedha khada hi nahi rehta h gir jata hai. Uska screw ka thread toot gaya tha. Maybe I was unlucky in this case.

Could you please confirm me regarding warranty of xhdata radios in india? Because agar 3.5k ka radio 2 3 months me band ho gaya toh I will be greatly disappointed.
Mujhe toh primarily Bluetooth aur USB/SD card main h.
FM reception agar ghar ke bahar pakda toh bhi thik h, mai external antenna lagwa dunga.
Mumbai mai toh MW ka ek hi station hai asmita vahini, meri mother kabhi kabhi woh sunti h
SW nahi rahega toh bhi chalega, hoga toh just kabhi kabar timepass ke liye aise hi check kiya karunga.
I will try for Pagaria R-917, since its build quality seems better. Isme ek plus point hai ki yeh portable bhi hai.

Looks mein achha hai wo 5 band ke muqable.
Xhdata ki waranty ka mujhe koyi idea nahin hai hi, maine risk le kar kiya hai unko.

R-917 is the perfect radio. Mai usey last 1 week se daily use kar raha hu.
I will give a comparison between 5 band and R-917.
Pros R-917 over 5 band creta:
1. Sound quality is really good, ekdam best, R-917 ko chota sa subwoofer bhi hai back side mai so bass sounds bhi ekdam badhiya ata hai.
2. Build quality for the pricing point is very premium compared with 5 band creta.
3. Its portable, additional torch aur emergency charging output shayad itna useful nahi hoga jab ghar par ho but since radio portable hai yeh additional features maybe useful when outside home.
Cons R-917 over 5 band radio:
1. R-917 ka analog tuner is very very sensitive, sach m ek station pakadna bhi difficult padta hai, also FM reception inside home is not as great as 5 band creta but external antenna use kia toh it doesn't make any difference. I think ek radio jisme DSP chip use hua hai usme digital tuner hona chaiye, analog tuner sach mai difficult hai. However all local stations are easily caught with an external antenna.
2. Creta mai, USB, TF card and Bluetooth teeno simultaneously chalaya jaa sakta hai by switching modes on remote. But R-917 mai, TF card dala toh USB nahi chalta, USB dala toh TF nahi chalega.
Aur agar TF aur USB port mai koi inserted hoga toh Bluetooth nahi chalega because it has a common switch to play MP3.
3. 5 band Creta ka remote gives additional features like us se FM ka digitally accurate tuning hota hai, stations store hote hai and TF/USB card ke songs ko marji ke hisab se select aur play kar sakte hai. This is a major missing feature in Pagaria R-917, but however agar ek radio portable hai toh remote ka hona is illogical so not much complaints regarding this
4. Major con is the 3.5mm output Jack. Iska 3.5mm output jack quality is very bad usme mai ekdam bland base-less sound ata hai. So using external speaker/attaching to home theatre is not even a feasible option.
However this con is not over creta 5 band since creta 5 band mai toh, 3.5mm out hai hi nahi
No comments on medium wave and shortwave iska reception was satisfactory.
Final verdict:
I will always prefer R-917 over Creta 5 band since it's portable, and the sound quality is better. Xhdata may be a better option but due to warranty issues itna mehnga radio lena risk lagta hai.
Sabse important is build quality. Ek better build quality wala radio long time last hoga iska confidence ata hai. 5 band creta ka exterior quality mai itna issues tha, so was really doubtful ki andar se bhi purja theek hoga ya nahi, but anyways as you said, shayad mere bare mai hi luck kharab ki piece defective aya.

See, R-917 is not based on dsp but on an IC, it was pointed out to me by some nice viewer of this channel who told me that he confirmed it from the Pagaria website people.
It always depends upon one's needs and choices.
My personal opinion is - R917 is well built as it is made in China while Creta lags behind as it is made in India and it's a well known fact that manufacturing in China is very cheap in comparison to manufacturing in any other country.
But I instantly liked Creta over R-917.
I believe Creta is an underrated Radio while R-917 is overrated.

@@loneranger5700 brother, they are different. Pagaria R-917 charger is with USB port A & any charging cable with one end having A port can be inserted in it and that is why it charges all my Radios haha.
Creata charger doesn't have such option. It is of type micro-usb at the other end and only those Radios with micro-usb port can be charged from it and that too after reading its specifications (the charger says its output is similar to phone specifications, which I can't figure exactly, as phones may have different specifications).
