That Cholo is lovely but I wouldn't have got the dash panel on the tank better painted, it just doesn't look as well painted as the rest of the bike, diamond cut heads look great , is it expensive to do
Quick question please. Can the new 128/131 barrels/pistons be used with the first generation CNC ported Screaming Eagle heads or do they have to be ran only with the new 2nd generation Stage IV heads?
@@HarleyDavidsonWizard Cool. wonder if you can share with the bars and controls information with me? Are those 18" bars? I've got a 2000 Fat Boy and looking to do similar set up with internal throttle / brake / clutch cables.
Just wondering who did the powder coating on the Cholo Custom and if it’s the same place that you use for coating parts on your personal bike/s? I live in Oakland County and was wondering if they are local.
The cholo customs gold powder coating was done locally in Waterford MI at M&M specialty coatings. I'll give you the guys number if you send me a message through Facebook. I did the red powder coating myself in my garage, I used a Eastwood powder gun and have a oven out there. Doing the powder coating myself was pain in the butt tho. Mike at M&M is pretty inexpensive.
Hi Brad, amazing video, question about the cholo byke. You mentioned a 23 inch front wheel, but that looks more like a 21 inches, the rear you said 18 and that looks about right. Also those rims are 2.15 or 3.5mm rims? thanks and keep the amazing work bud.
Brad, I have a 11' Deluxe. My question is, can I mount the teardrop tool box the way this bike has it mounted without a custom bracket? They come with the mounting bracket, correct?
Ya, the tool boxes fit deluxes just sometimes saddle bags and exhaust systems dont allow them to fit. The tool boxes tipically come with the mounting brackets.
I went to a vocational school during high school for auto the did auto in a collage program. I was planning on being a auto tech but circumstances happened and I found employment working at a harley davidson dealearship in the parts department. When I started I knew nothing about harleys. I didn't know the differences or anything!! I made flash cards so I would learn what a xl1200c was vs a road king Lol. I watched what the other parts department people and would learn from there mistakes and picked up information from the parts department people that knew alot. I went from parts department counter person to chrome consultant. Then I moved with to a different dealership where I was chrome consultant again and they asked me to be parts manager. I declined the position as it's a crappy job and I was gunna quit the harley biz and get back into a auto shop. Then service asked me if I wanted to be a tech. I took the position and worked in the winter side by side the best tech we had and he showed me the ropes. I then was porter, service writer, truck driver, bike washer and tech. No joke. Someone would break there leg and I'd do there job till they got back then someone would get cancer and I'd do there job till they got back ect and eventually I was full time HD tech and the dealership appreciated my "doing whatever was needed" and in the winter would send me to HD training classes around the US so I'm master level HD tech now.
Great information on all the parts and I feel for you wasting your time I know how it is but the color scheme on that bike with the metal flakes love it the diamond 💎 cut design perfection Work 👍 the video is perfect not boring a Mix of motorcycle and different things and Tools to work on Them Thanks Brad for your time and all the New contents 😎👍
You have a lot of great knowledge but I with you could be better at speaking . Sorry no disrespect intended but hart to watch as you stubble through a video..
Dude I know! right!! Its even more annoying when I see all of it in editing. Its something I'm working on so only time will tell. Thanks for the view and comment!
So at the risk of sounding racist: looks like you built a Mexicans bike and a black guys bike. Not saying I dont like the styles ps that's the best sounding Harley I've heard in a while but I'm a sucker for fish tails.
I have a 97 Fatty that I would love to make into something similar. Nice work!
Not really a Cholo fan, but the Nostalgia, now the discontinued Deluxe is my favorite Harley. They just look right.
Thanks for the view and comment! 👍
Some badassed bikes comming out of Michigan?!
Love them breakouts just don't care for the little tank . . I'd like to see a 131 c.i build and a Dyno or gettin after it on the road
Sounds nice
Another great video. Really dig the Cholo build.... well done on that one Brad 🤘
Thanks for the view and comment!
Exhaust n wheelie bars all in one. Lol
👍
Esta muy hermosa esa moto dorada
Passing light should be yellow 👍👍👍
Shit happens, no need to get twisted over it.😊
Cool bike.
I think so too!
Open primary belt drive, keep those pants legs tucked in !
👍

I'm not sure. Ive only used them together in kits.
The cholo bike looks good. The handlebars and no mirror would win you a couple of citations in Georgia.
I can believe that!!
Hello, where is your dealereship in Michigan located? Great video. sure would love for you to do work on my '12 fatboy, Thank you
That Cholo build is pretty sick. Do you have other videos showing more?
Thanks!! No sorry I don't. I was just doing a impromptu follow up of shop life on that particular day.

How tall are the bars including risers on cholo bike? Beautiful builds man!
How do you like the Primary belt drive system? Does it last maintenance wise? The engine transmission seals?
I like the primary belt drive looks. But othar than that it has no advantage over a normal in closed primary. And the clutch chatter is loud!!
I’m doing a similar style build to my Fatboy and which le Petra seat is it running fit wise?
What a comeback!!! The cholo was amazing and I'm looking forward to more awesome vids!!
lol Thanks!!
wow that fatboy is sweet nice work and love the diamond cut head's

@@HarleyDavidsonWizard Thanks Brad. I do not have a Facebook account but I will have my wife Sue message you. Thanks again.
I believe they are robotically cut
I should ask my dealership if they gave me the right kit😂

So what do you do with the parts if the customer doesn’t want their old parts back?
At the end of the year we normally go through the stuff and make a "save it" pile and dumpster the rest. Sometimes sell it for scrap.
Them spigots are super thin...
True facts!!!
I still can't understand how you can ride a bike With your arms above your head
Its actually very comfortable.
@@HarleyDavidsonWizard I grew up riding dirt, So just unnatural for me, I like push and pull riding style
How did that build cost?
I don't remember off hand bit it was deffentally a crap ton of cash.
What fender kit is on the cholo
The front fenders from fat katz
Doesn’t anyone Wrench on their own bike anymore, very sad !
I wrench on mine. That's why I follow real mechanics' videos, like Brad's.
Heck ya brother!! 🤘
I do all my own work on both bikes. And have fun doing it !!!
wanna sell passing lamp set up ?
Sorry it's not mine to sell.
Very nice bike but definitely not my style.
