The best storytellers have lived life with gusto, humor, and a sense of companionship with humanity, no matter the number of disappointments. Terry is an absolutely brilliant storyteller.
Wow this is a gift.. probably the best conversation I've heard with him.. Ive been a huge fan of Gilliam since I was a kid in the 80's .. Thank you for this 👏⭐🥰
Loving these podcasts. I’m almost done my first complete through of The Creative Act: A Way of Being. It’s so comforting & affirming to read. I’ve written a few enjoyable poems during my daily read throughs. Appreciate your service & thank you for sharing. All the best 🙏
This was such a joy to listen to. I've seen 12 Monkeys probably 50 times it's one of my absolute favorites (as well as fear & loathing). Would love to hear Lynch on here someday! Thanks Rick!
I'm so glad that Terry Gilliam is still sane and rational, or at least as insane as he's always been lol It's kinda funny being reminded that Gilliam grew up in Minnesota.... I live near there & wish there were far more people like him who could embrace unique and "different" thinking while also staying grounded in reality. What am I talking about? That's a real problem everywhere.
As an English Man, it's almost embarrassing to admit any Monty Python references these days. Which is probably for the best, we would only ruin them. ❤
Please interview David Lynch

Kurtzman is one of the top cartoonists of all time. Always thought it was so cool that Gilliam started there. Great interview thanks!

It would be amazing to have Quentin in this podcast Rick!
And yet his filmography isn’t even up to the level of 1/10th that of gilliam’s. I’d prefer he spends time talking to artists, not ego’s.
Excellent interview! Listening from Panama. 🤪🌺🌴🥥🍄🏖😜

Brazil is a top 5 fav… watch it now if you have yet to sit in the chair
My favourite line in time bandits was the evil dude: explain to me subscriber trunk dialling...
Kubrick, Scorcese, Gilliam
Barry Lyndon, After Hours, Brazil

Are you interested on interviewing Daft Punk, or one if its members Thomas Bangalter?
