...I grew up in Fort Lee from March 1950 until we moved to Wayne in 1961 - my dad was born above his father's general store in 1918 @ 169 Main - on the corner of Hudson St - which no longer exists. I can remember walking down Main to Center Ave (the old Center Pharmacy) and beyond - to Linwood Ave - turning right and walking to my house @ 2183 Linwood...so much has changed in over 60 years...I'm 74 - thanx for this memory...
