I have a stupid theory for how the story will end, the idea is that after Akira win the fates clash thingy (I mean come on of course he will), he will make the wish that “everyone wishes come true” and they will make some sort of crap that since his ace card is “fated one of the miracle” it will be able to make a miracle and make this stupid wish come true, this will make sure that no one gets bad ending, and they can get a cookie cutter happy ending

Yeah its fairly good opener, introduces all the characters well enough (Raika is still is still in his old moldy uniform, so that's something I guess), a little dash of intrigue with the mystery seventh character whether a big bad, main characters dad disguise for some reason or a portent to something else. And also I trust this Mascot character more than I did Kyubey so that's good. Curious about the specifics of the other characters wishes. As for the what the sister plays (If she ever does) Divine Sister for a cheap joke, Dragontree so she can use all her cards, or secret antagonist/ final boss deck. Thinking all the fated fights take place in the same place as the final fights for WillDress just going by the opening. Probably gonna see Rezael episode 3. Do hope for some classic damage zone shenanigans, but maybe play with energy or something else to set it apart, just don't dive into the deep end of rescue checks like some customs do. Did just check that Resurgent Dragon (Start deck grade 2) is generic, so it could focus on revival, though I wouldn't be opposed to healing something in the damage and then reviving. Happy these watch-alongs are back, usually get a good custom idea or two from them and looking to get started on a few new ones after my twelve days of customs cleared that out a bit.
Bro the sister playing Dragon tree would be so freaking funny lol. Also yeah Kyubey was so sus but this guy seems pretty straightforward at least so far. Glad you get ideas from these, maybe the inclusion of these folks will add to the brainstorm.
Honestly, I'd see this a really great start for DivineZ. All our introductions for each of our new main casts was pretty neat for their first impressions. Suo(Dark States dude) is kind of like of me sometimes, just really tired of life. Nao was neat (hopefully doesn't become Willdress Megumi 2.0) and I also excited for both Taizo and Masanori to be involved in this series and... 23:35 ARE THOSE ANIMATED STARTERS, AND AN ANIMATED STAND UP?! XD (Ignore the whole battle-royale, make-a-wish mechanic; psycho priest [wrong religion though lol] check; main female character introducing the protagonist to the mysterious world check; overly kind and caring main protagonist who has the father figure of "friend of justice" check; OH did I mention he can cook too? check, the servant...I mean the keter main unit uses sword check...do we need to continue at this point XD) Also did we just spoiled of Deluxe 2's final outcome? Come on, Bushi, there is literally an outgoing manga about it! Welp, based on the competition, Raika is an easy pick for the winning favorite anyways. Last but not least, I can't describe how hype it is that we are back to the "IMAGE it!". It's gonna be a fun ride with you lads! Get ready with all kinds of nerdy anime references and lame puns!! 🥰

It wasn't my favorite episode but it did good on getting you hooked in, they showed every main character briefly and gave us a subtle hint on what they are like, the main character is not only funny, he's pretty mature, and he has a clear goal although I wonder if he'll get something for his own rather than just battling for the sake of his sister (like that's good and all but if that's all he's doing characters like that normally don't succeed and get like robbed some way in the end but I guess he is the main protagonist), his sister is adorable and I love that she's trying to be positive despite her condition, she's trying to not make her brother worry and making him aware that she is loving her life despite the difficulties. Nao is interesting, I don't have too many thoughts about her at the moment other than she kind of reminds me of Tomari but like less jokester-y. I'm very excited for Megumi to come back, it is hard to hear all the hate every time I watch these with her in it but I really want her to get her own focus or do something now that she's here again, she was one of the other 7 who got shown on stream so I expect her to at least have something later on. I didn't read too much of the post Will+Dress Season 3 manga that happened but I know that she used masques in that one and beat Tohya, so she got her revenge (since the manga is apparently canon?) and it's a bit of a shame because she genuinely is a pretty strong fighter (Probably why she became leader + the fact that the other members relied on her + she did introduce like 5 people into the team lol) but she gets shot left and right because she didn't stay relevant enough so she was just used as a punching bag even though we've seen her beat some good opponents. They probably made her stay at grade 4 in the anime because the Dragontree arc is over so masques deck shouldn't appear frequently, but it is canon that she flip flops between masques and Elder like how Urara supposedly does.
Oh neat, I didn't read the manga so I didn't know she beat Toyha, that's kinda big for her ngl. You make a good point for Megumi though. Personally, I think her character is gonna be a good deal better here, she's chilled out a bit it looks like and, w/o Danji there, Megumi is finally free to be her own character. Probably not gonna be super important but if she serves her role well and acts well doing it that alone would help turn community opinion around on her imo. We'll see if they fumble or not with her. Our MC seems to have a more clear recipe for success, especially since he has a goal many of us feel for and to an extent relate to. Really happy with the direction so far, now I just hope 2 delivers on the action!

How you avoided spoilers from a show that had a early screening last week is beyond me lol. Arguably one of the strongest first episodes in years. It set up the premise, set up the conflicts, introduce the casts nicely enough that we want to see more of them. And they did what they failed to do since ODs1, they gave the main character good amount of focus and depth from the get go. I know it's very early but already Akina is in top 3 characters of D. Already showing WAY more personality and character in one episode than Yuyu did for 2 sagas(still like the kid tho). A very nurturing and kind big brother that's desperately trying to save his illness proned sister which btw not only is an adorable cinnamon roll, but doesn't play the pity card and didn't have the woe is me trope. Instead try to find the positives in life and trying to live it the fullest which honestly having that attitude that young, kinda heartbreaking. Very very excited to see where this goes. Like ol Gaby the plushy said the last fighter standing will get their wish granted. We now saw 1 and it's already intriguing and you wanna root them. Imagine the other 5 wishes. Already enough rambling we'll be here for a day lol. All in all, great start to a new adventure. Really excited for more. And yo the more the merrier for group reactions. More opinions and insights are always welcome.

I kinda feel some love to Akina because I can relate to Akina's plight of caring for his younger sister. I do believe Yuyu definitely got more character as we approached the will dress era but Akina has a TON of potential to exceed this if they take the time. Perhaps the angle of the other 5 and their wishes will make him ponder some tough questions and grow as a result. We'll have to see but super hopeful! Happy to hear that the group wasn't confusing or disruptive, I really love these watchalongs so I definitely didn't want folks to get put off lmao. The keter deck so far seems like a successor to Arch-aider, Malkuth-melekh. Which im hype for cause missed the cgance to play it during v series
