I can see GPII and DMelt going for spurts and really wearing out some superstars. KA is much better than I thought after this breakdown too. Surprised to see that Buddy looks about the same or better than Klay did last year according to the advanced analytics.
If Kerr plays anything other than Trayce at the 5 and Draymond at 4 we're toast. Draymond can't last the full season as a 5. him at the 4 with TJD was our best lineup last season and there's no alternative center that works.
@@spiritoflifeinchristminist9764 Post has no defensive capability; Trayce is completely different in what he brings. Playing post in the 5 is similar to playing Saric - a disaster.
@@spiritoflifeinchristminist9764 I don't think Post is NBA-ready now depending on his summer league game, his screen, his roll and especially his defence, there is a lot of improvement yet.
the Back Benchers could be pretty good if they hit their upsides. Imagine Hield, Waters, Moody and Post all hitting 3s while Spencer or Podz runs the point (and maybe hits more 3s too)
They likely think and probably rightly so as much as we all love Plowdin that while none of them will likely be needed, emergency PG is more "a thing" than 5th string wing.
yeah i really liked Plowden, he had potential. But i could see he would get real playing time in Atlanta, while on the Warriors, they have Moses Moody...
@@EricApricot I did and that would be amazing if it's true. The training camp roster still lists him as 6-8. But I don't know if they update that thing, since all their weights are the same as their listings on BBREF, even though that fluctuates year to year.
The honest truth is that I actually made a video about the Serbia game, and NBC / Olympics blocked it from being shown. Most groups like the NBA will let you publish (and confiscate your earnings), but the Olympics had a complete ban on any videos. So you can find the video at DubNationHQ.com but not on TH-cam. Listen tjd will always get his points but most his points are dunks or layups so to me having Post as a 5 is gonna leave tjd or dramond open alot under the basket. Especially since Post is an excellant 3 pt. shooter !
I wish people will stop babying Klay. He was absolutely shit last year mainly because of his attitude. A grown man acting the way he did because of his own bad performance was insanely unacceptable. Klay was ass, call it like it is.
In my opinion the starting line up should look like this. Steph Buddy Kuminga Wiggins Draymond It’s easily the best defensive switching line up. It has 3 ball handlers, 3 floor spacer,2 athletic cutters and the lack of height didn’t affect us last year when it came to rebounding. I just don’t see a world where they sit Steph, kuminga( especially with all the drama last year) and draymond. Wiggs would be getting paid a lot of money to be sitting on the bench. The nba is a business and if someone is getting paid that much I doubt the owners would like them to be sitting on the bench. Buddy is easily the one that might not start but I just think with how the warriors or Steve runs the offense with two sharpshooters that buddy most likely starts. Especially since Steve recruited him himself. When the bench fully enters the game it should look like this, Brandon Melton Moody Kyle Trayce Obviously Steve likes intertwining line up So throughout the regular season we might see line up like this Brandon Steph Kuminiga Draymond Trayce Brandon Gp2 Moody Wiggins Post Steph Melton Kuminga Kyle Trayce Steph Kuminga Wiggs Draymond Trayce
This was a great listen!
Why?
The Warriors definitely got better this season

Healthy GP2 and DM will improve our point of attack defense, that’s for sure

No one is starting the rookie with no experience over the sophomore who would’ve been on an all rookie team if he played sooner in the season….

I don’t think Post is ready now, but I haven’t written off his future defense. He was statistically very effective as a defender in college.
@@eumaiesI’m expecting him to be a lot more dogged and physical than Saric; more like a bigger Bjelica.

Spencer's physicality is under rated. That man is a tank.

Looking forward to some twin tower lineups with Trayce and Post.
Did you hear that MDJ said Trayce grew over the summer and is now 6-10?

Post is not that good
Hey mate..welcome back..where have you been? 😅
Resting up this summer! It was a lot of work doing a piece for every win from 2015 to 2023…. 😁
Plowden would not only have to beat out 7 guys on the roster, there is also Knox and Hinson fighting for that spot.
