the like button seems entirely insufficient! Sophia, thank you so much for turning someone who HATES sewing into someone who was so excited to try one of these bags that I ran out to the craft store and bought one and got advice from a sewing expert there so that I can come home and try it RIGHT NOW. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. :D you're my new hero! I don't know if I can post pictures here, but I will come find you somewhere and show you what I make! xoxo
Ruth you literary made my day! You are the sweetest person! Thank so much for your kind words. In the description box of the video you will find the link of the blog post of this video. In the comment section you can upload pictures. I would love to see your work. Kisses from Greece!😘😘😘
Thanks dear you are an EXCELLENT TEACHER and amazing PERSON too, that I feel. Your instructions are so very clear to follow. Thanks once again. Bani from INDIA
Hello, I am loving this little bag. I am making it for my granddaughter and using Peaches & Cream 100% cotton. Can you give a general idea for the dimensions of the bag? Thank you and I will post on your blog (if it will ever send me a verification code), and Pintrest when I have finished.
Thank you! The size of the bag is 22*22*22cm. You can upload your pictures on my blog by making a comment on disquss. I would love to see your finished Pyramid!
I just saw it! It turned out amazing. Lovely choice of color and I adore the heart on the top! Congrats for the amazing work and thank you for sharing your creation to paraligo!
Thank you! You could make it with t-shirt yarn. As for the hooks you could replace them by attaching a wrist handle. Just crochet two rows of the same pattern with a length twice your wrist. Then join the ends and attach the handle at the top of your pyramid.
Thanks for the tutorial! I've made 2. But I did tweak ur pattern a little to make it go faster and a little less work for ME🤪The only thing I wanted to add is I wish u had shown more footage of how u got the zipper in there. The part between 17:22 & 17:36 that u cut out would have been helpful...putting the zipper in straight and neat is the hardest part and with the magic of editing u made it look seamless. ☺️Anyways thanks again! Now I have to find the small ring u used! 🥰
Paraligo exactly my point. Thank u for understanding. In the past I've searched for many a zipper install tutorial for crocheted items. I added a zipper to my first clutch but it didn't come out as good as yours on the zipper pull end...I wanted to see how u got it to sit in there so perfectly 🥰 thanks again for the video!!💜
Also, I could find this type of cording, so, I have been using 6 strands of #10 crochet thread. It's actually 2 balls tripled. There is a video on how to triple your yarn without using 3 skeins! it's genius and doesn't show!! So I combined two thread balls and tripled that! Works great! G Susan Bates hook 😉
Thanks! You can. But since acrylic is a much softer yarn you wil also need to use plastic mesh as reinforcement. Otherwise the walls of the pyramid will colapse.
Υou could, but it will result into a softer fabric and you will need to reinforce the Pyramid with plastic Mesh. I chose Metalic cord because it's hard and waistcoat stitch thats a dense stitch exactly because the combination produces a thick fabric that keeps its form.
Will definitely be giving this one a go. Don’t have any macrame yarn, but will give it a try with normal yarn to see how it looks. Thanks so much for this tutorial. I love making bags ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! If you use soft yarn like an acrylic one your clutch will need reinforcement. Otherwise it won't keep the proper shape. You could use T shirt yarn.
THank you very much for this tutorial and all the material you are sharing! As a constructive criticism, I think it would be more clear the patterns with a less shiny yarn. A big hug from Ireland! ♥
Thank you very much! You are absolutely right about the yarn but I realized it only after shooting the entire video. Love 💖 to Ireland☘️ from Greece 🐬!
I don't know what are the shipping costs to your location but I think you should give it a try. It's a big reliable company in my country Greece and the yarn is of amazing quality. "Mykonos Glitz for bags | Delfino Yarns: Knitting, crochet, embroidery" www.delfino.gr/en/mykonos-glitz-for-bags-880.html
Thank you! In theory yes. You d have to replace the pattern with simple crochet stitches. You d also have to go down in yarn size to be able to use small beads (big beads would look weird l think). This would result in a smaller clutch unless you changed the entire number of stitches. It needs experiments I guess.

Hi Sophia @Paraligo ! I am about to try and make this cute little clutch but I’m wondering what your finished dimensions are? Please and thanks!💜 Kat from So Cali☀️
Paraligo thank u for the reply! I don't have the cording so I'm using a Caron1Pound + Bernat Velvet bc it creates a strong but luxurious weave. I've made some twist headbands using this method when we end to NY and they were super warm. So I'm getting about 25x25x25 🤪🤪 with this purse LOLB🤷🏽♀️😂
Thank you for is the time of year because most of the Torio’s when I make bags and other languages I really appreciate you showing us how to make this clutch bag
Hello. I like this clutch, but I have a little problem. When I make the chain, it is to short, very short like 10 cm instead of 22 cm. I use cotton yard for amigurumi (hook 3-4 mm). Do you think I can double the number of stitch or do you have another idea ?
Hi! Thanks! I believe doubling the stitches will do it but you also have to increase your rounds. Remember that when you finish the last round if you fold your work flat it must look like a square.
Ok. Thank you again. This is going to be a present for a nurse at the hospital where I work. How can I send you a picture when I finish it? You're such a kind person. I feel as if I'm talking to a long time friend. Thank you again
Oh are so sweet! Thank you! I am sure she will be thrilled with your present! You can go to the link in the description box and visit the blog post for this video. In the comment section you can upload photos! I d be delighted to see your pyramid!
I am so happy that my video made you happy. Of course you can. It will change the size but you can experiment with tshirt yarn or thicker macrame cord.
Thank you very much! It's a Greek Brand actually you can check the specifications here: www.delfino.gr/en/880-mykonos-glitz-for-bags.html the color code is 101/301. I believe you will find similar in your country.
You are a very good teacher. Your hands are very steady not bobbing around like some thank you

Thanks! You can. But since acrylic is a much softer yarn you wil also need to use plastic mesh as reinforcement. Otherwise the walls of the pyramid will colapse.

Hola esta muy bonita cuantas cadenas de inicio no se ingles
Hola! Gracias! 65 cadenas
Does it really take 140m,as all the 2mm shiny cord on ebay is at most 40m which make the bag very expensive. Thanks

Thanks! I'll do a pyramid head amigurumi with this idea 💕
I happy you find my video useful! Thank you!
Can I use a normal woolen yarn
If you do you all have to use reinforcement. Plastic canvas or something similar. Other wise the pyramid will collapse. You could use T-shirt yarn.
Muy bueno no entiendo el idioma, voy siguiendo el video, podrian traducir al castellano ? Seria muy bueno.
Thanks. I promise to do as soon as possible.

Can you use any kind of yarn for this
It has to be thick. 3mm macrame cord and up or T-shirt yarn. No acrylics no cotton yarn. Other wise your bag will collapse.
Un gran saludo de Colombia.

Are the “v”/waistcoat stitches supposed to be on the wrong side or right side? Its
Difficult to tell on the light color 🙏🏾😌
It's worked in the round. So everything is the right side.
