Love it. No one is a jerk. No hating anyone. Even Scarlet you end up liking in the end. Its a nice change of pace from all the backstabbing and cheating.

Ahhh I like this story!! No revenge no alterer motives ok scarlet did want Grayson, but in the end everyone was friendly and no violence or backstabbing. Wholesome ending (though a spin off of scarlet finding love would be nice too)
This is actually one where a childhood Sweetheart and romance makes sense in normal relationship experience... Tbh I've found all those childhood sweetheart turned evil Ex who casually harms n disrespects FL suddenly when a girl appears as Ridiculous - espl if we are expected to believe that these are guys from well to do families that value honor n decorum n all tat....

There is nothing wrong in her going to Africa and becoming a volunteer, in fact it's quite natural considering she seems to be an empath, I personally would have run away for selfish reasons, to have my entire life mapped out by family would crush anyone I think. If she and Grayson are meant to be they will find one another again, if not so what? She nor he has ever been able to experience life without each other, letting them grow naturally and allowing them to fall in love naturally without pressure is the best way for both of them but being told when you will marry and when you will have babies must be truly terrifying, it would have been for me for sure! Let them be FFS, stop interfering! Parents can be such a nightmare in these cultures. Don't understand Scarlett's animosity or hatred toward Josie though, especially saying she's a hypocrite, in what way is she a hypocrite? She never wronged Scarlett at all.
At first I was disappointed why she left Grayson for Africa. Good thing Grayson is not weak to fall for other's temptations. Good thing that he is sensible and loyal to her... If Grayson is like any other male lead here... He will fall for Scarlett sooner or later but thankfully he is not.... So the goat in this story is truly Grayson!
The one who is amazing is Grayson; not only did he reject Crystal's feelings for him, he waited and was planning on going after Josie. Josie is a young lady of a rich family but still wanted to pursue her interests and find her real meaning in life. She's very lucky a girl to have Grayson by her side and supporting her. While Crystal at first is pushing her luck with Grayson, she's trying hard and working hard just so Grayson will like her, but fortunately Grayson loves Josie. I'm happy for Crystal at the end for finding her worth and not charging for someone else but loving herself more.
