But I can tell you that Pastor Shawn Johnson with RedRocks Church out of Denver, CO did an amazing series on depression, etc. called "Attacking Anxiety." As a mental health professional and as someone with clinical depression, it blessed me deeply.

I was writing my Physician Assistant essay of why I want to be a PA, and it’s taken me so long to find a reason. The only thing I could really come down to from the heart, was that it’s because I enjoy the profession (of course),but what is driving me to get there is pain from when people looked down on me because of my ethnicity in an all-white school. Is it really my purpose though ? I’ve been struggling so much with listening to God’s voice for my purpose. I feel like I’m right there, I can grab it, I just don’t know what path to take.
God will show you who you are, and in that you’ll find your purpose- keep drawing near to His voice, and all the ways he speaks...and after awhile you’ll find it hard to miss
A career / job is 1 part of your life purpose. Your Life purpose from God is bigger than a job. So I believe that PA is part of your purpose but God wanted to free you from what’s motivating you (pain & to prove you can) to being motivated by God that you will help in healing people. So now study 📚 & push PA with joy knowing you are now doing it for God and God and God will use it through you to touch many lives 🙏🏾
As you fulfill your true purpose - to worship God, and participate in the Great Commission, discipling those around you, He will lead you in all other areas that you find question. He is FAITHFUL to complete His work in you

I’ve honestly been in every seat at some point in my life : betrayed by my ex , blamed by my parent , bypassed for a job and I sat in that bitterness for years letting it fester. But God will use every experience as a set up for purpose . What the enemy meant for bad , God will use it for good. God is with me. This series has revealed that I need more healing. “God sent me ahead of you to establish as a remnant within the land and to keep you alive by a great deliverance.” Gen 45:7 In Genesis 3 God talks about the promised seed The promised seed is Judah. David comes through Judah. And Jesus comes through David. Joseph had to forgive them because without that we don’t have Jesus. He could’ve let them starve and die. It was horrible but Joseph had to be placed there in order to preserve the promised seed. That’s why in Matthew it starts with a genealogy! :) God is GOOD. It’s all about Jesus! Stay faithful guys. Forgiving Unfair // Life is Unfair A true champion must always overcome unfair. There will be a game where people do unfair things that they are not held accountable for. When it comes to forgiveness, forgiveness is always needed in an unfair situation. Jesus is our champion. Everything He went through for us, was unfair. 2 Corinthians 2:14 - when we’re in Christ, we will see a victory. We always talk about triumph, since triumph means victory. But victory means battle. Going from victory to victory, is going from battle to battle. You cannot have a victory if you don’t have the battle. Victory is on the other side of the battle. Battles are always unfair. When you’re in a battle, you don’t fight fair; unfair always happens, which leads to offense. In a battle, you have a high chance of being offended. The reason why most people do not forgive, is because nobody in their life acknowledged that what happened to you was unfair. Therefore you have the need to protect yourself. What happened to you, was unfair. What they did to you, was unfair. You didn’t deserve it, but you still got it. That was unfair. Unfair is never fair. You can never make fair out of an unfair situation. We often try to do that, trying to make it better than it is. But it was unfair, and you didn’t deserve it. It was unfair, but what do you do when it’s your reality? The only way to fix something, is to validate it first. God wants to illuminate stuff in your life, so you acknowledge it. John 16:33 You will have so many battles, it’s gonna be unfair everywhere. But Jesus has overcome the world. People in fake forgiveness university are prideful, keep count of their offenses, think forgiveness is optional, give people what they deserve, focus on the fault of others, only forgive in fair situations. People in forgiveness university are humble, lose count of offenses, know forgiveness is mandatory, give grace to people that don’t deserve it, focus on the forgiveness provided by the Father, and forgive when circumstances are unfair. Chair 1: the chair of betrayal. You only get betrayed by people that you trust. Some of us have been sitting in this chair, since it was unfair what happened to us. The enemy wants you to sit here and become comfortable. People would rather stay here, than finish the call of God on their life. Joseph did not stay seated in betrayal. He was able to keep moving, even if it was unfair what happened to him. He got in charge of the house of Potifar. But then he gets accused of attempt of rape. He suffered full consequences for something he didn’t do. Chair 2: the chair of blame. People got blamed for things that they aren’t or didn’t do. Now people remain in this chair, blaming everyone and everything. if you don’t move from this chair, you start replaying the situation and you start changing your character. You start thinking ‘I should have done this and that’. Joseph didn’t remain in this chair. He was still able to be used by God. You can always find somebody who agrees with your disfunction. But because Joseph saw blame, but didn’t sit in it, he still wanted to be used by God. God can still you, even if what’s happening to you is unfair! Chair 3: the chair of bypass. When people don’t see you, don’t seem to care about you, don’t choose you, you can take a seat here. The devil wants you to sit here, and be insecure since you’re always bypassed. It’s unfair that they don’t see you, that they keep bypassing you. But are you gonna stay here for the rest of your life? The enemy wants you to stay seated. If you remain seated, your motivation will be no longer your purpose, it will be your pain. Joseph was bypassed for two years, he remained two years in jail. But he was still able to remain useful to God. He was able to go to the pharaoh, because he was able to forgive unfair. Are you still useful to God, even if what happened to you was unfair? If you can move on from the betrayal, blame and bypass, you are going for the upgrade. But when Joseph became successful, the test wasn’t over. He was in a seat of power and the people who betrayed him, needed his blessing. Chair 4: the chair of bitterness. When we sit here, the ultimate plan of God for our life gets distorted, because we think they don’t deserve our help and forgiveness. Are you going to reach your purpose, or remain in this seat? Joseph managed to manage these chairs, he figured out how to forgive unfair. You get opportunities to receive betrayal, blame, bypass and forgiveness, but you need to deal with them in order to reach purpose. Could God trust you with the life of the person who betrays you? If you’re ever gonna walk in the blessing that God has called you to be, you gotta be able to forgive people who have done things to you that were unfair. They may never apologise, but can you forgive them? Hebrews 12:15 When you let bitterness be the root of your success, the reason why you form friends, the reason why you go into a certain direction, destruction will follow. You can do the right things the wrong way. If you’re going to forgive unfair: - Believe God is with you - Genesis 39:2-3 / Isaiah 41:10 - Being in an unfair situation doesn’t release you of your responsibility. The season is hard, but God is still good!! James 1:12 - Serve when it sucks. Pray for people when it sucks. Colossians 3:23 - Don’t name out of your pain - Genesis 45:50 - when Joseph got the upgrade, he had two sons. God made him forget all his troubles, and has made him fruitful. Name it a practise round, not a failure. If you already decided that this is the worst thing ever that is not gonna bring out any good, God cannot work. Don’t put a period where God wanted a comma. Surrender your chair. Jesus took up all the space in the chairs, so you wouldn’t have to sit there. Unfair surrender to God is not a destination, it’s a direction. every unfair situation was needed for the direction.

I woke up this morning convicted crying in prayer as soon as I opened my eyes. I was praying with God asking him to heal my heart, I have this pain that has become the fabric of my heart or my character. I have used anger to shield me and hold up the broken pieces. I said God please show me how to unleash this, God please be with me. It started with my father, then an uncle, then a boyfriend, then every man I have ever tried to love took from me and gave me pain. The pain of unforgiving myself and God teach me how to let it go. It’s not fair that my ex left me to care for our son who has Down syndrome. It’s not fair that he left us to marry the first person to look his way. It’s not fair that I’m left to pick up these pieces. These were my type of thoughts at the beginning of this series. I was writing my Physician Assistant essay of why I want to be a PA, and it’s taken me so long to find a reason. The only thing I could really come down to from the heart, was that it’s because I enjoy the profession (of course),but what is driving me to get there is pain from when people looked down on me because of my ethnicity in an all-white school. Is it really my purpose though ? I’ve been struggling so much with listening to God’s voice for my purpose. I feel like I’m right there, I can grab it, I just don’t know what path to take.
God will show you who you are, and in that you’ll find your purpose- keep drawing near to His voice, and all the ways he speaks...and after awhile you’ll find it hard to miss
A career / job is 1 part of your life purpose. Your Life purpose from God is bigger than a job. So I believe that PA is part of your purpose but God wanted to free you from what’s motivating you (pain & to prove you can) to being motivated by God that you will help in healing people. So now study 📚 & push PA with joy knowing you are now doing it for God and God and God will use it through you to touch many lives 🙏🏾
As you fulfill your true purpose - to worship God, and participate in the Great Commission, discipling those around you, He will lead you in all other areas that you find question. He is FAITHFUL to complete His work in you

Yes, and the mixed race children that resulted were able to go into America, marry into & learn the culture, get educated, change minds, and ultimately the world, through assimilation. Forgiving Unfair // Life is Unfair
A true champion must always overcome unfair. There will be a game where people do unfair things that they are not held accountable for. When it comes to forgiveness, forgiveness is always needed in an unfair situation.
Jesus is our champion. Everything He went through for us, was unfair.
2 Corinthians 2:14 - when we’re in Christ, we will see a victory. We always talk about triumph, since triumph means victory. But victory means battle. Going from victory to victory, is going from battle to battle. You cannot have a victory if you don’t have the battle.
Victory is on the other side of the battle. Battles are always unfair. When you’re in a battle, you don’t fight fair; unfair always happens, which leads to offense. In a battle, you have a high chance of being offended.
The reason why most people do not forgive, is because nobody in their life acknowledged that what happened to you was unfair. Therefore you have the need to protect yourself.
What happened to you, was unfair. What they did to you, was unfair. You didn’t deserve it, but you still got it. That was unfair. Unfair is never fair. You can never make fair out of an unfair situation. We often try to do that, trying to make it better than it is. But it was unfair, and you didn’t deserve it.
It was unfair, but what do you do when it’s your reality? The only way to fix something, is to validate it first. God wants to illuminate stuff in your life, so you acknowledge it.
John 16:33
You will have so many battles, it’s gonna be unfair everywhere. But Jesus has overcome the world.
People in fake forgiveness university are prideful, keep count of their offenses, think forgiveness is optional, give people what they deserve, focus on the fault of others, only forgive in fair situations.
People in forgiveness university are humble, lose count of offenses, know forgiveness is mandatory, give grace to people that don’t deserve it, focus on the forgiveness provided by the Father, and forgive when circumstances are unfair.
Chair 1: the chair of betrayal. You only get betrayed by people that you trust. Some of us have been sitting in this chair, since it was unfair what happened to us. The enemy wants you to sit here and become comfortable. People would rather stay here, than finish the call of God on their life.
Joseph did not stay seated in betrayal. He was able to keep moving, even if it was unfair what happened to him. He got in charge of the house of Potifar. But then he gets accused of attempt of rape. He suffered full consequences for something he didn’t do.
Chair 2: the chair of blame. People got blamed for things that they aren’t or didn’t do. Now people remain in this chair, blaming everyone and everything. if you don’t move from this chair, you start replaying the situation and you start changing your character. You start thinking ‘I should have done this and that’.
Joseph didn’t remain in this chair. He was still able to be used by God.
You can always find somebody who agrees with your disfunction. But because Joseph saw blame, but didn’t sit in it, he still wanted to be used by God.
God can still you, even if what’s happening to you is unfair!
Chair 3: the chair of bypass. When people don’t see you, don’t seem to care about you, don’t choose you, you can take a seat here. The devil wants you to sit here, and be insecure since you’re always bypassed. It’s unfair that they don’t see you, that they keep bypassing you. But are you gonna stay here for the rest of your life? The enemy wants you to stay seated.
If you remain seated, your motivation will be no longer your purpose, it will be your pain.
Joseph was bypassed for two years, he remained two years in jail. But he was still able to remain useful to God. He was able to go to the pharaoh, because he was able to forgive unfair. Are you still useful to God, even if what happened to you was unfair?
If you can move on from the betrayal, blame and bypass, you are going for the upgrade. But when Joseph became successful, the test wasn’t over. He was in a seat of power and the people who betrayed him, needed his blessing.
Chair 4: the chair of bitterness. When we sit here, the ultimate plan of God for our life gets distorted, because we think they don’t deserve our help and forgiveness. Are you going to reach your purpose, or remain in this seat?
Joseph managed to manage these chairs, he figured out how to forgive unfair. You get opportunities to receive betrayal, blame, bypass and forgiveness, but you need to deal with them in order to reach purpose.
Could God trust you with the life of the person who betrays you? If you’re ever gonna walk in the blessing that God has called you to be, you gotta be able to forgive people who have done things to you that were unfair. They may never apologise, but can you forgive them?

When you let bitterness be the root of your success, the reason why you form friends, the reason why you go into a certain direction, destruction will follow. You can do the right things the wrong way.
If you’re going to forgive unfair:
- Believe God is with you - Genesis 39:2-3 / Isaiah 41:10
- Being in an unfair situation doesn’t release you of your responsibility. The season is hard, but God is still good!! James 1:12
- Serve when it sucks. Pray for people when it sucks. Colossians 3:23
- Don’t name out of your pain - Genesis 45:50 - when Joseph got the upgrade, he had two sons. God made him forget all his troubles, and has made him fruitful. Name it a practise round, not a failure. If you already decided that this is the worst thing ever that is not gonna bring out any good, God cannot work. Don’t put a period where God wanted a comma.
Surrender your chair. Jesus took up all the space in the chairs, so you wouldn’t have to sit there.
Unfair surrender to God is not a destination, it’s a direction. every unfair situation was needed for the direction.

I woke up this morning convicted crying in prayer as soon as I opened my eyes. I was praying with God asking him to heal my heart, I have this pain that has become the fabric of my heart or my character. I have used anger to shield me and hold up the broken pieces. I said God please show me how to unleash this, God please be with me. It started with my father, then an uncle, then a boyfriend, then every man I have ever tried to love took from me and gave me pain. The pain of unforgiving myself and God teach me how to let it go. I then opened my TikTok and the clip of this sermon was playing. God is always , always here and on time.
I am watching this close to end of 2022. I have sat too long in those chairs. I pray that I enter 2023 into a season of forgiveness.

It’s not fair that my ex left me to care for our son who has Down syndrome. It’s not fair that he left us to marry the first person to look his way. It’s not fair that I’m left to pick up these pieces. These were my type of thoughts at the beginning of this series.
