My question is : If a difference comes on Debit side, why do we say it a Cebit balance instead of a Dredit balance? In Capital A/c we got a balance of 8000 on Debit side, but we read as a Credit balance. Why?
If the difference is on debit side it is the closing balance there it is called as credit balance because you transfer it on credit side as next year opening balance
