Hi Dr. Ekberg🙏 I am suffering from severe cold issues even in hot sweating summer. I avoid fan or A.C. I cover myself in high neck, woolen cap, socks even in Sun when its at its peak at noon. I feel troubled in summer more than winter as sweating causes exertion, changes my clothes 3-4 times in a day, and wind takes away my body heat leading to headaches, cough etc. It started since 2020 but there was a gradual increase in me feeling cold over the period of 20 years or so. I am 37 years of age, female. This became completely visible in 2020 when in summer I started feeling no heat or even from sun. My A1C was 4.8, TSH was 4.2 but I had Vitamine D at 5.4. This was measured in 2021. I was suggested Injection for Vitamine D which I took regularly as prescribed. They measured after 6 months, and it was improved. Yet still there is no difference in me feeling that cold. People laugh at me wherever I go. I cannot understand what to get checked and where is the issue. Any insight will be very helpful. 🙏 My heartiest thanks to you!
I’m cold as you are but I have heart palpitations and fatigue sleep problem as well. My ferritin was not too low but I discussed with my doctor then she referred me to a hematologist and had one iron infusion 3 weeks ago but I don’t feel any improvement yet still feeling cold in July 😢

Hey I am 28 and I feel cold all the time from past few years. How do i get to know what exactly cpupd be the reason. Also have stubborn weight and had pcos a while back (though its better now).
Did you rule out the insulin/glucose problem talked in this video? (People with weight Problems have often already a insulin resistance problem) You could also work on building brown fat. You trigger the body to build more when you shiver(Short cold shower and then don't dry of right away does it for most people), when you just feel a little cold than your body doesn't see that as a problem to work on. Brown fat is great to lose weight too.
I don't have one specifically on Neurologically Based Chiropractic. I made a few videos about chiropractic. th-cam.com/video/gE1kE-i1Hks/w-d-xo.html Basically all chiropractors are helping the brain, but not all of them know it. Most of them don't explain it that way. The body is primarily an information processor. Mechanics come second. Traditionally chiropractors have it the other way.
Great info...thanks. What are your thoughts on keto for women who may have hormonal imbalances? I’ve read that complex carbs a week before their cycle is important to bring progesterone up if it’s low. Also keto seems to bring up thyroid issues for some people. I’m getting quite confused by all the info out there. I appreciate whatever info you may have.

My daughter is 23 and is cold all the time year round. She's been to a doctor several times inches past year and had thyroid checked. Nothing wrong with it. Any suggestions??
Alcohol causes vasodilation meaning a relaxation of peripheral blood vessels. This causes the warm blood to go to the surface of the body and we get a flushing effect. However this mechanism is inappropriate and uncontrolled, so now we loose a lot of heat. And shortly we will be cold.
I believe that I had read something about drinking alcohol, coffee, diabetic and statin medicines depletes your B vitamins that results to some neurological symptoms like anxiety, you may check this out. Maybe taking B vitamins supplements is helpful.
Thanks for this video.. im always cold.. but why do i still have sweaty and clammy palms even when it's chilly? Had my thyroid checked and they said it's normal.. 😭
The stress response (sympathetic response) causes vaso constriction and sweaty hands and palms. Here is a link that talks about hyperhidrosis (Excess sweat) th-cam.com/video/csfTDkuDU54/w-d-xo.html. I'll be doing a video on breathing and relaxation training soon. Also look at my thyroid video. th-cam.com/video/tbs9IHN0DK4/w-d-xo.html "Normal" isn't always optimal.
Normal thyroid levels, just hereditary Raynauds that gallops through the family. Rather embarrassing to wear earmuffs on long distance bike rides because my ears get cold. 🥶🥶Thank goodness for hand and feet warmers! Just need a nose hat……
Just listing to you I feel safe you are my doctor no body else I left paris because of coronavires and I have no health insurance here in Stockhomry thankful the troth is i feel healthier
Look into building brown fat. We don't build brown fat which produces a lot of heat in the body when we are a little cold. Best way is to shiver and a short cold shower and after don't dry off right away triggers shivering. That is a situation where the body recruits more brown fat. People which are overweight lose most of their brown fat and when they lose the weight they don't produce enough heat anymore. I don't know if you had more weight, being never exposed to any cold can also lead to losing more brown fat.

I need help I 40 female has been always cold My Feet and hand what should I do?
Why do some people run hot?
There’s your proof right here.. Sten has barely aged and it’s now 2024 🏆

Normal thyroid levels, just hereditary Raynauds that gallops through the family. Rather embarrassing to wear earmuffs on long distance bike rides because my ears get cold. 🥶🥶Thank goodness for hand and feet warmers! Just need a nose hat……
Yes my nose is so cold
My face is cold
My poor toes n hands
I never had this problem until I became vegan 2 years ago. It's becoming intolerable, that I'm quitting veganism.
Try some eggs. It is not vegan, but if you find a local farm that free range they are not harming the hens.
So ...not starving myself....been keto over two years...., thyroid is fine....blood sugar is perfect. Why am I always cold?
Thyroid is obviously not fine lol
They don’t even run the right tests, let alone interpret correctly

If you recommend keto diet than you must be a really poor doctor who doesn’t take into account how much damage this diet makes to our bodies 😮
