Honestly I just love collecting cheap commodity Chinese electronics like this. Even if the quality isn't very good, I still like it. It's an extra treat when cheap stuff turns out to be surprisingly good quality too.
I think it's a very nice radio. You can't ask for more performance for this little thing. Beautiful retro look I like the fact that it has a removable battery. I find that I love collecting them, especially the retro ones. Retro equalizer, external antenna, micro sd card, Bluetooth, awesome speaker, battery with external charger cable for recharging. Come on...and the price is unbeatable. Beautiful little thing.
Thank you. I just got this today and its pretty awesome. I use it on my E scooter and works well. Looks cool at night with the lights and stuff. Also if you hit mode the lights will flash to the music.
Thanks for doing this video. You’re right, there aren’t many in English. I just ordered the ZHIWHIS brand of this radio (I think it’s exactly the same, just different branding). A little cheaper too. I love the look and the fact that it’s tiny. I wanted a shortwave radio to play with and this should fit the bill. Thanks again.
Thanks. I'm searching for reviews about this radio since I saw it on aliexpress eons ago. I'm surprise of the many functions esp. the moving lights. I like that it has bluetooth function so I can use it immediately while watching youtube etc. without all the clutter in my bag.
bought this cute little thing, although I have many much more powerful radios likw pl660 and even ham radio, but this cute little thing is small, light, simole to use, and type-c charge is a big plus, the audio quality is also very good. the bluetooth function makes it a very good company to mobile phone. so it is now my EDC stuff.😍
I saw one of these on here and had to look into it more and I decided to get one although mine will be the one with the Digital display I ordered it a few days ago and its on its way. from what I hear it sounds good for the size, it doesnt sound like a small transistor pocket radio, maybe it has a long throw speaker and it is improving the frequency response perhaps? Don't know what would be on the Weather band here in Australia though.
@@steviebboy69 then it must be a HRD 701? also.very good one. bith models have the same speaker, well optimiazed for middle frequecies I think. I chose the 700 for the color, and the analog tuning because my other radios are all digital tuning , the old fashion way sometimes feels cool too.😄
@@poli4869 Yes mine would be the HRD 701 in the Canary Yellow colour something different from black, and yes I do actually like the Analog tuning dial and flashing LEDs would look good in the dark.
Ordered one of these, I have a Muzen Wild Mini which has a similar design but much higher build and sound quality, but I was intrigued by the radio and display on this that I had to get one. I love my Muzen, although it's sooo heavy at 248g, while this is 100g. This one would be a bit better accompanying me on solo camping trips where I just want to listen to radio, and with the price being 1/3 of the Muzen I'm not too worried about it. На русском пока не нашел но я уже успел его купить из первой партии мне обошёлся 1700руб . Сразу должен сказать что меню очень неудобное , подсветка бесполезная т.к. барабан шкалы прозрачный а разметка наклеенная прозрачная пленка с цифрами то ночью ничего не видно . На коротких волнах в поддиапазоне 5700 кГц - 6400кгц бывает самовозбуждается и визжит как порося . Ещё очень мало ячеек памяти для средних и коротких волн поэтому в условиях хорошего приема при автосканировании в память помещаются не все станции . Но звук у него очень хороший и только я подумал лучше бы они сделали в нем ж.к. дисплей как на АлиЭкспресс уже появился hrd-701 с таким дисплеем и жёлтой подсветкой как на Тексанах . Самый дешёвый стоит около 2500руб а у других продавцов он больше 3000руб . Так что если брать то hrd-701 .
Больше двух недель пользуюсь hrd 701 - совсем другое дело ! Все опции современного карманного приемника : 2 варианта будильника ( включение радио и оглушительная пищалка ) , таймер сна ( правда с каждым включением нужно устанавливать по новой ) , валкодер фиксированными рывками конкретно под шаг частоты , частоты в память можно вводить вручную , есть простое сканирование без ввода станций в память . И на средних волнах чувствительность 701-го лучше чем у 700-го который к тому же тупит при выходе из режима работы с ячейками памяти и слабые станции через раз то слышно то нет . Короче 700-й бесполезная головоломка - первые полчаса интересно потом понимаешь что выбросил деньги на ветер .

Nice but could do with a earphone jack,and for Short Wave it needs an extension antenna for decent results.
A fine tune dial as well.. 🤔
