Kafka and Vice Captain Hoshina are my two favorites. I feel like Iharu is a little more friendly in the anime. Unfortunately for you, there are almost certainly more cliffhangers ahead, but I think the story makes up for it.
Kafka, Ichikawa, and Shinomiya I feel like are safe from dying anytime soon. In fact, in spite of the death-flag foreshadowing, I don't feel like anybody is going to die next episode. However, if someone *_does_* die, I feel like it'll be one of the other three guys who's names I can't quite remember right now. The pink-haired shark-toothed guy, the blue hair guy, or the blond, tan, ultra-ripped Adonis-looking guy. If anything, those three feel like the most likely to be offed. But even with that said, I think that we won't have to worry about at of them quite yet.
Ichikawa and Kikoru are my favorites. Ichikawa is just a real deal homie through everything, and Kikoru talks a lot of smack but she can definitely back it up.
