What is your favorite free program that is totally free of cost? If we like it, we just might feature it in an upcoming video... Thanks for watching :)
Panopreter Basic, for turning text files, including *.rtf, into speech in most major installed languages. Dr. Geo and EuklidDynaGeo for the constructions of Euclidian geometry. Dr. Geo is rather basic and some of the documentation and samples have been poorly (or not at all!) translated from French, but the program's native file format gives amazingly clear output with a small file size. EuklidDynaGeo has far more constructions, but to see slanted lines instead of staircases you have to export as a picture first (and change from the program's standard to a good export resolution). Again, language can be a problem, as the last version has never been translated into English. So you'll either have to work with the program in German (which is what I do) or settle for a slightly less sophisticated product.

For my Zorin OS 15 computer, I like "Screenshot" due to it's easy use, and "Cilpit" to save copied text, and "Keep Note" for saving all sorts of info and pictures from recipes to Electronic notes. Keep Note is taking the place of AZZ Carfile which doesn't work well on Linux even with Wine loaded.
Open Shot looks interesting and I'll give it a try. I never needed much, having used the movie maker that came with Windows 7. When I had to move on to Windows 10, I wanted to replace it with something that had those same basic functions. If the replacement has more, fine, maybe I can grow into it.

You can't check that yourself? I don't think it's a lot, 100-200 mb maybe. I could be wrong though. And I hate to be that guy, but if you are using windows, you may consider switching to Linux if you need more space. Most distros take 3-4 time less space after install. Some are even about 1-2 gigs after install. And those are usually quite lightweight as well
Chrome seems to underlie most browsers. But if you are sick of Google et al customizations then Chromium which is the open source that Google uses but without default crap. I have the latest portable version running all in one folder.

Hi TechGumbo! I know this is not related at all but just wanted to ask if you can do a video on how to restore wifi settings. Wifi option is gone and I have tried to do some troubleshooting but nothing works. Hope you'll notice this! Thank you!

I started using the Brave browser about 2 years ago on Windows and Android and never looked back. Edge is inferior and Google is over-bearing & intrusive, to say the least It's a Chrome-based browser, but not associated with Google. Chrome is open-source and used by several developers. You get the benefits of Chrome extensions and compatibility without censored search results (unless you use Google as your search engine.) There's no need for an ad-blocker extension. Brave has an ad-blocker built in that outperforms any free extension I have found and you will not be prompted to upgrade to a paid version. Say goodbye to TH-cam ads . You do have the option of lowering your Brave Shields per website. They don't track you or keep history. You may choose to save your history after you delete it, even sync your desktop with devices, or not. I use Duck Duck Go search engine.
I cannot agree with openshot. i've had my fool with it and its slow, Laggy, and if you dont have a pretty good computer it kinda sucks. if your looking for a editor just use divinci resolve or a web editor. If you dont agree well you might be right but for me its just not that fun to work with.
