Born in Belize and been away for over 40 years. This stuff melts my heart for home. Thank you for the wonderful sounds!
I'm from Brazil. That rhythm remember me the carimbó, an afro-indigenous Brazilian rhythm from the Pará state. I love it. I want to dance to my ancestors.
That's cool, I'd like to learn about that rhythm. I'm a big fan of the drum rhythms of the diaspora.
I recently went on a trip to Belize with my school and the guy in the middle taught us some drum rhythms that i still remember!!
I’m from Venezuela and we also have a big Parranda tradition in the Afro Venezuelan culture of which I’m part of too. We play it in Christmas mainly and special occasions but recently the youth has added louder drums and there’s a big fever with it right now in Venezuela. Please search for ‘Parranda de Boleros de Caucagua’ and it will link you up to the other cimarron towns (maroon towns) in the central Caribbean coast Barlovento.

I need this in much of my life and mind
Excelente!, me encantó, son muy buenos y transmiten mucho sentimiento de su hermosa cultura, abrazo para ustedes.
Nice! Reminds me of kumina in Jamaica. We should cherish what is left of our African culture before it was robbed by Christianity and Europeans
Me encantan
Saludos que nunca se acabe la música garifuna
Bendiciones🙏🏼❤️
awesome we need to see more drummer's and singers like them now that I enjoy the real stuff. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
I love parranda music!
U sound like a whole dumb ass. "Please properly educate yourself."
Ellos son de Belice. No son Latinos.
@@weebnibba1540 garifuna ppl technically are Latino bc we are not only from Belize.
@@blessing9480 The only Garifunas who can be considered "Latinos" are the ones that live in Honduras, Guatemala, & Nicaragua since they were born in Spanish-speaking countries. The Garifunas from Belize *are not* Latinos since Belize is an English speaking country. The Garifunas from this video are Belizeans so technically they aren't Latinos. That's the point I'm trying to make.
@@weebnibba1540 nah bro you right -garífuna person 😭
