As an Australian? Yes, they were, his jokes were very refreshing to an Australian audience, and they were awesome! Finally a 'controversial' comedian who is 'controversial' for all of the right reasons, not because he makes rape/hate jokes, and thinks that makes him 'edgy'.
Yes, he repeated the jokes, but to have the brilliance to sell it to such a crowd, that's big. You are undoubtedly the most intellectual stand-up comedian right now.

From all the Indian stand ups out there, he is the most intelligent and well informed. He speaks sense, never heard him foul mouthing but still keeps the audience engaged. Will love to watch him in flesh in the UK.

Secondly after searching a lot they found a house which was owned by a hindu family only and they had no problem

I don't think anyone in that crowd was prepared for his style of comedy. I've heard these jokes before on his channel, and even I had to brace myself. His sense of humor is dark.

Loved the jokes.. Most of crowd looked like they were not aware of what Daniel was talking about.. Some seemed to be worried whether they can laugh on such jokes.. I feel Indians are better at consuming such jokes (this judgement is based on watching other Daniel's shows).. Atleast we know to laugh at ourselves and also, we seem to be more aware of issues happening around us..

Because he isn't doing it for TH-cam. That clip you mention, he performed in India and this he is doing it in front of an Australian crowd who have I assume have no idea about what all he has done in India.
Comedians repeat jokes... starting from Carlin to Sienfields to Burr to CK. Everyone does. Writing materials is hard. And takes a lot of time. Some comedians refine their jokes and use some of them throughout their career. It's not a bad thing.
