    Love that you’re making stuff for your planner instead of just buying it, it’s so much cheaper and more customizable to make it yourself! Thanks for the great tips!

      Thanks for watching! Yeah I truly love to buy from planner shops & small businesses to support but it can definitely get pricey so I do try to DIY what I can if I already have the stuff to do so :)

    Awesome video! I will definitely be making these dividers. I wanted to mention to anyone reading this comment, that when you are laminating a single layer of paper, you can cut all the way to the edges without compromising the seal. I've made a quite a few single layer laminated dividers and they're still holding strong! You only need the seal when using two sheets of paper so you can hold the lamination to hold together. HTH

    Very helpful video- thanks for sharing. I got a fantastic deal on that same laminator years ago, and being able to see how you made your own dividers really inspired me to do the same. Thank you! (I'm partial to the vellum look, too!!)

    You should place masking tape at the point on the laminating pouch where your tabs begin. That way you will know where to stop cutting.

    When making the pocket, could you have cut the laminate sheet smaller so you didn't waste half of it?

    • @planwithbee5846
      @planwithbee5846  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, most likely. But when you cut them too small they can get stuck in laminators and then get ruined so I didn’t want to risk that happening :)

    • @planwithbee5846
      @planwithbee5846  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Also, I save all my good sized laminate scraps bc I can cut them into page markers, flyleaf etc :) I utilize it all ♥️

    Do you have a top tab template for HP Classic? I'm not good with the measurement!

    • @planwithbee5846
      @planwithbee5846  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, I don’t. If you take one of the HP classic inserts and use it as template but add some height to it for a tab would be an easy way. Then, just like in the video, after you get them cut out with that extra height you can trim off the excess so you end up with a tab :) sometimes it takes a little trial and error to see what works best for you. Hope this helps :)

  • @crystalmarie6562
    @crystalmarie6562 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    new to the channel and would love to see how you do top tabs for Classic Happy Planner...the measurements and all! Would prefer clear dividers with tabs so I can use my creative side. Please and thank you. Have a very Blessed day In Jesus Name!

      Hmmmm, I feel like maybe that sounds familiar but am not really sure. For the clear laminate pouches is what I saw them do. That might be her. I’ll have to look her up to see if I recognize the video if she still has a channel! Thank you so much for commenting this!! 🥰

      @@planwithbee5846 no worries! You make me want to go back to rings from my Muji Planner (I like it's layout more than Hobonichi). I have an LV sitting unloved in my desk. 🙈

      Thanks for letting me know. They automatically go up on my videos. I’m able to lighten them a little but never know which videos will show them all (bc sometimes they are just banner ads that don’t interrupt the video). So thanks for telling me I can lighten them up a bit on this :)

    OK so I know this was two years ago but if I can add my comment now, I hope that’s OK? I love your videos, and I love the content that you share. To me, I would like to see more of how you actually use your planner-how do you use inserts, how do you use certain printable‘s, etc. Watching people flip through a planner and just telling us where they got it, does nothing for me. Maybe if that info was put in the notes, someone can go look at it, but sitting looking at a planner and hearing “I got this from here, got this from there, got this from here”,it’s boring. I’d rather see what you got, and how you’re using it. Maybe make one video about a certain type of insert, or a certain dashboard, or a certain worksheet. Whatever does the individual planner uses. But someone like you has very high quality content and I do enjoy your videos, but if you’re asking what we like, I hope I personally enjoy more of you, talking about how you use things to be giving us like a demo and how you use something in your every day life. Thank you! And your little girl is adorable even though it’s been two years she’s still adorable!

      Hi there! Thank you for your feedback, I welcome the feedback anytime. I do have a mix amongst my videos of both just flip throughs as well as very informative videos explaining things like that in detail. I try to keep a mix since everyone likes different ways of hearing and seeing what’s in my planner :)
      I actually started a series over a year ago specific to inserts where I would talk about a single insert and explain/show how I used it. However, I never continued the series because life threw some curve balls at me at the time and I wasn’t filming as much so I stuck to some flips once in a while, but in those I do try to explain my process for certain things too sometimes. I hope to restart my “insert overview series” in the future. And I’m happy to hear that you’d be interested in watching something like that! :)
      I do think you’ll like my next video I have coming out soon. It’s currently in the edit stage so hopefully I’ll have it ready to be released this week. It is a planner flip broken up into parts where I deep dive into each section so I can further explain what I use & how I use it, show examples & give ideas. So I think you might enjoy that.
      My planner flips usually become very long bc I try to explain so much about what and how I use my planner so I decided that for my next planner flip, I would do it in parts and I could better explain things without the video becoming over an hour long 😂 The first part has been filmed and is in the edit stage now like I mentioned so it will be up one day soon.
      Thanks again for your feedback. I love to know what everyone is liking or wanting more of from my content because I love to share it and help others with their planning process as well! 😊
      Thank you for the sweet comment too about my daughter :) 💜
      Have a lovely week!
