Same. Forgot how good CD1 was. Then looking at this, and wow. The first Gen Agents were 10x more powerful than Captain America, faster than Black Panther, and more accurate than Hawkeye. That's not to mention the ricochet bullets, kicking vehicles around like piñatas, density of population, AND 3 gangs. The new one only really has one... 1 gang the size of one of the others at that, not even a large one. Its lame. Very fun game, and can be awesome to play but this honestly now seems like a downgrade.. Especially since we cant have 4 play, or public coop sessions its Inv Only. Very saddening, I hope they do allot of updates and DLC's to make this game so much better

@kjh crackdown 1 had better optimization, yes it had a simplier engine compared to the unreal engine from crackdown 3 but remember that it runs on xbox 360, yet you could manage to overload the screen and get some frame drops, either way did you saw the poor physics going on in the third cd? poorly optimized ragdolls, almost nule physics for vehicles and large objects, cliping when some characters where trown away, look man there's nothing wrong if you liked the game but don't try to deceive the rest of us (or yourself), i liked mass effect andromeda and i acknowledge how shitty it is.

Those 3 games compared to Crackdown 3 don’t even feel as good to play though honestly. I understand that thats a subjective term, but again, I think how a character feels to control is important when making a video game. Plus, the only game you should be comparing it to is Saints Row 4 seeing as how those are both open world sandbox games. Not to mention that that game looks nowhere near as photo realistic as TLOU and BF4. But again, I stand by my point that TLOU, BF4, and SR4 feel very clunky in their controls. I honestly suggest that you play all four one after another to get what I mean.
I'm being sincere when I say Crackdown 1 looks way more fun. It's more bombastic and over the top. Less refined maybe, but I think that's part of its charm. I used to love it back in the day.

Hay juegos de todo tipo en la viña del señor. Borderlands está casi vació de gente y no deja de ser un juegazo, porque te salen enemigos por doquier. El pollagordear es lo de menos en un juego directo que busca diversión. Pocos sandbox hay con 60 fps de este estilo, con ciclo dia y noche e iluminación de primer nivel. juegos similares que han salido esta gen son Siant Row 4 remaster y Agent of Mayheam y no les veo para nada al nivel de graficos que Crackdown 3.

Sorry folks, but this style of game was never meant to be a GTA, God of War or Spiderman. The first Crackdown was such an addictive open world that I completed the game via different difficulty settings at least 3 times. GTA IV on my 360, I still own, but have only played for perhaps 2 hours before getting bored. I also have invested perhaps a few hours into GTA V as well and like GTA IV, I appreciate the title and what Rockstar has created, but again this title is too mundanely real. My preference in gaming is to leave this world behind and do something that is completely off the charts. The appealing qualities of both Crackdown titles are the crazy arsenal of available weapons along with the agility and strength of the Incredible Hulk. There really are very few true Sandbox titles out there that truly come close to this. Graphically, this game is visually only an Indie title, but this does not matter in the least. The physics, scalability, destruction and vertical heights is what makes a game, like this, so appealing to gamers like myself. The bottom line is that there is a plethora of game genres out there, because no one genre appeals to everyone. I play games that I enjoy and not what reviewers or others say. Any real gamer understands this. I play God of War on my PS4 Pro when I am into an intense one player experience along with HZD and Spiderman. When I want group play with buddies I play Titanfall 2 Frontier and Gears 4 Horde match. When I simply want to game with a buddy, collect orbs and destroy everything in your path I play a Crackdown title. Also unlike CD 1, CD3 has ground and air attack that keeps you on your toes as you level up.
What this really highlights is that Crackdown 1 has like 10 times more pedestrians. If they're going to make the world so simple and not put props all over they really should've cranked up the pedestrian density to make the world look less empty.
Original Crackdown was SO good, I spent hours just jumping around and blowing things up... I never bothered with Crackdown 2 but looking at this, Crackdown 3 seems to have taken out so many things that made Crackdown fun :'(
Its like Crackdown pulled a Saints Row on us. Started off pretty good and got increasingly different and is now just plastered with Neon. I do feel Saints Row handled it better though.
I wasn't paying attention to the labels saying "Crackdown 1/Crackdown 3" until like 55 seconds into the video and I had no idea they weren't the same game

@@tredsar5478 Para nada, desde el principio usaron el Unreal Engine, la destruction en la nube la hizo Cloudengine y se fueron luego de terminar su parte del trabajo y dejar todo Azure listo, el resto le quedó a Sumo Digital. Cloudengine fue comprado por Epic games el algo pasado, los creadores del Unreal Engine, pero el creador del juego y líder del proyecto Jones, se quedó como supervisor y para ayudar en la destrucción de la nube hasta que fuera necesario.

It feels like open world games as a whole have completely given up on making good car crashes. Crashes in Driver for PS1 had more impact than most games these days.
I remember in crackdown I used to spend hours just standing on the highway and shooting oncoming cars in the wheel and watching them flip and crash. Good times..

Crackdown 3 is more detailed but I prefer crackdown 1 overall look. Colors and artistic choices looks ugly in crackdown 3.

@kjh crackdown 1 had better optimization, yes it had a simplier engine compared to the unreal engine from crackdown 3 but remember that it runs on xbox 360, yet you could manage to overload the screen and get some frame drops, either way did you saw the poor physics going on in the third cd? poorly optimized ragdolls, almost nule physics for vehicles and large objects, cliping when some characters where trown away, look man there's nothing wrong if you liked the game but don't try to deceive the rest of us (or yourself), i liked mass effect andromeda and i acknowledge how shitty it is.

Are you talking about the textures? Because this is a physics comparison, and the physics on players and vehicles are far more detailed on Crackdown 1.

As funny as crackdown 1's physics were.. Crackdown 3 gives you way more control cause.. Admittedly.. The physics can screw you over in crackdown 1. And you gotta hope your ragdolled body lands somewhere safe or conveniant.

World looks even more empty than the first one and the graphics aren't even look generation better. This game look like it came out at the end of 360 and PS3 life cycle but even then there's a game like TLoU, BF4, Saint Rows 4 that looks miles better.

Those 3 games compared to Crackdown 3 don’t even feel as good to play though honestly. I understand that thats a subjective term, but again, I think how a character feels to control is important when making a video game. Plus, the only game you should be comparing it to is Saints Row 4 seeing as how those are both open world sandbox games. Not to mention that that game looks nowhere near as photo realistic as TLOU and BF4. But again, I stand by my point that TLOU, BF4, and SR4 feel very clunky in their controls. I honestly suggest that you play all four one after another to get what I mean.

I'm being sincere when I say Crackdown 1 looks way more fun. It's more bombastic and over the top. Less refined maybe, but I think that's part of its charm. I used to love it back in the day.

Hay juegos de todo tipo en la viña del señor. Borderlands está casi vació de gente y no deja de ser un juegazo, porque te salen enemigos por doquier. El pollagordear es lo de menos en un juego directo que busca diversión. Pocos sandbox hay con 60 fps de este estilo, con ciclo dia y noche e iluminación de primer nivel.
juegos similares que han salido esta gen son Siant Row 4 remaster y Agent of Mayheam y no les veo para nada al nivel de graficos que Crackdown 3.
@@DarkoTheGamer grafico quizá, pero las fisicas mal optimizadas para los personajes y nulas en algunos puntos para los vehiculos le restan muchisimos puntos, por no decir que el cloud threading que prometieron para dar fisicas mas completas en el multiplayer son un timo absoluto, creo que hasta el battlefield 4 tiene mejor destruccion, por donde lo quieras ver este crackdown es un timo absoluto, solo se ve bonito porque no se juega siquiera como los originales que honestamente se sienten mejor.

Sorry folks, but this style of game was never meant to be a GTA, God of War or Spiderman. The first Crackdown was such an addictive open world that I completed the game via different difficulty settings at least 3 times. GTA IV on my 360, I still own, but have only played for perhaps 2 hours before getting bored. I also have invested perhaps a few hours into GTA V as well and like GTA IV, I appreciate the title and what Rockstar has created, but again this title is too mundanely real. My preference in gaming is to leave this world behind and do something that is completely off the charts. The appealing qualities of both Crackdown titles are the crazy arsenal of available weapons along with the agility and strength of the Incredible Hulk. There really are very few true Sandbox titles out there that truly come close to this. Graphically, this game is visually only an Indie title, but this does not matter in the least. The physics, scalability, destruction and vertical heights is what makes a game, like this, so appealing to gamers like myself. The bottom line is that there is a plethora of game genres out there, because no one genre appeals to everyone. I play games that I enjoy and not what reviewers or others say. Any real gamer understands this. I play God of War on my PS4 Pro when I am into an intense one player experience along with HZD and Spiderman. When I want group play with buddies I play Titanfall 2 Frontier and Gears 4 Horde match. When I simply want to game with a buddy, collect orbs and destroy everything in your path I play a Crackdown title. Also unlike CD 1, CD3 has ground and air attack that keeps you on your toes as you level up.
Agree with most you said except the visuals are indie part. I think Crackdown3 is crisp and clean.

Compared to the first one, crackdown 3's world is basocally empty.
What this really highlights is that Crackdown 1 has like 10 times more pedestrians. If they're going to make the world so simple and not put props all over they really should've cranked up the pedestrian density to make the world look less empty.

Original Crackdown was SO good, I spent hours just jumping around and blowing things up... I never bothered with Crackdown 2 but looking at this, Crackdown 3 seems to have taken out so many things that made Crackdown fun :'(

@@tredsar5478 Para nada, desde el principio usaron el Unreal Engine, la destruction en la nube la hizo Cloudengine y se fueron luego de terminar su parte del trabajo y dejar todo Azure listo, el resto le quedó a Sumo Digital.
Cloudengine fue comprado por Epic games el algo pasado, los creadores del Unreal Engine, pero el creador del juego y líder del proyecto Jones, se quedó como supervisor y para ayudar en la destrucción de la nube hasta que fuera necesario.

Hubo unas situaciones graves les quitaron el motor gráfico me parece qué lo estaban haciendo con unreal engine y pues cambiaron de estudio.
Y de hecho se iba a cancelar, pero no optaron por eso ya que a Phil Spencer le gusta ésta franquicia y quería sacar éste juego en esa fecha así como estuviera, sin contar claro todos los problemas de desarrollo que hubo detrás.
