Elegy to the Memory of an Unfortunate Lady, published in his Works of 1717 is a poem in heroic couplets by Alexander Pope. It involves a poet's celebration of his lady who committed suicide because her guardian thwarted their love. It consists of war-like imagery to enhance the vision of the suicide described. But this poem isn't about Lady Mary Wortley Montagu. Pope, indeed has written a satire on the lady, but the title of that poem is To Lady Mary Wortley Montagu.
