I had no idea who Amir was until the last chance cypher. I instantly fell in love with his style in his battle against Morris, I thought "this dude is gonna make it to the finals without any problem" and oh, surprise! He ended up winning the main competition. WHAT A BEAST!!🔥🔥👏🏼👏🏼
imo i completely disagree. i think amir style is completely wack. its a bunch of leg flailing around to some freezes. his second round was better and clean but 1st and 3rd round i think completely went to phil
Phil Wizard was just amazing the whole competition, he was on another level and he really deserved to win the whole thing. But damn, there is probably nothing you can do against Amir right now. At the moment he might be the best bboy in the world, outside of BC one aswell. Respect to all bboys and bgirls though, the level is getting higher and higher. Hope Phil will get his belt soon.

Yeah, Phil took that first round for me no doubt. 2nd round was solidly amir because of Phils slips and repeats. 3rd round also the same, he repeated two times and his final combo was a repeat since he already did a drill to airchair earlier plus the rough landing didn't help. But Phil was dooope. He just bulldozed straight to finals. Also, damn, I want to see a RBBC all star team with Phil, Amir and Menno. That line up is unbeatable

If there was ever a battle worth a tie breaker... Don't get me wrong Phil did good he wasn't as clean as he can be but Amir was on point and won fair and square. But I could watch these two have a conversation on the floor for hours. My favorite match up
Amir seems like a quiet guy, his eyes seem a bit sad too, didn’t show too much emotion but he was probably happy inside. I’m glad he won, his style is sick.

phil actually had a good chance to win this years redbull bc one. i think one reason why he lost against amir was that, phil used all his insane moves in the earlier matches and ran out of "content" when it came to the finals. Against someone like amir, you cant run out of content because amir is really really really good at freestyling with very little repeats. Respect to amir tho for being amazing at what he does and showing he belongs there.
Because solo battles are the main theme now and you have to be so well-rounded that you won't see the same originality as you once did back in 2000's. Meaning you see a lot of the same fundamental moves well really well sown together but not like a NEW move
I am not sure, maybe I am just getting old, but why do I feel that the battle was not like 10-12 years ago. I think the beat is more exciting and the battle is more intense.

It’s weird that Phil repeated the drill to air chair…twice! He has a bottomless bag of tricks and I wonder why he fell into those repeats. He was unstoppable the entire competition, but something was the slightest bit off in his performance here, enough for Amir to edge him out.
