Charlie Cox is basically the RDJ of the Netflix universe. Had Daredevil not have worked, this entire idea for the Defenders might not have come to fruition (Same as RDJ/Iron-Man for the first Avengers movie).

To me Iron Fist has a similar issue to the first Captain America film, which felt like it is just created for setting up Avenger film. But then Winter Soldier and Civil War were both great films and I really enjoyed. I hope Iron Fist crews learned the lesson and create better story telling for Danny Rand in the next season.

I just saw the trailer for The Defenders and Weaver's character reminds me of Blofeld from Spectre. She is kind of the big bad and very much responsible for the creation of who the Defenders are. She is kind of the Kinpin that controls the 3 or 4 other organizations where each defenders faced off in their own series. Seeing all the heroes now coming together to take down this singular threat is just perfect. I think for Iron Fist his performance will work when is part of a supportive cast which is great.

Because IF was the unlucky one to be the last series before defenders they rushed that one do they could get working on defenders as soon as possible. The MC Fin Jones stated in interviews that they sometimes only had 15 min to rehearse a fight scene. This is again because they were rushed. Second is Netflix their 13 episode seasons. Some series like House of Cards can pull this off but for most hour long series it's best to limit the season to only 8 episodes. Stranger things did this and what we got was a tight and organically flowing story. Because they had to spread out the season over 13 EPS the series became a slow burn with allot of legal and corporate scènes about danny's inheritance that nobody cares about. Luke Cage suffered as well due to the 13 ep season. Pretty much everyone I talked top Agreed that the first half of Luke Cage was far superior to the second half. So i don't blame the IF crew and u believe they deserve a second chance. Netflix and Marvel just need to change up the formula a little

Kylo Targaryen Pretty much 😅😂 Although the difference between the first is nit significantly big. LC was average but still enjoyable. Iron Fist was just bad. Bad acting, bad writing and bad fighting/action scenes.
Kylo Targaryen One thing thats consistently good on all shows is the music. From daredevils instrumental to JJs jazz/rock to LCs rap/funk and to IFs modern music. Really awesom variety of sounds.
So glad they green lit Iron Fist season 2. The first season was really setup. Jones only had 3 weeks to train for season 1. I suspect we'll definitely see the costume and a more exciting season 2 with (hopefully) Steel Serpent as the main villain. Jessica Jones had Luke Cage to rely on a bit on that series but a great villain. I would say Luke Cage and Iron Fist were about equal in quality. The only reason Iron Fist got savaged was because the main character was caucasian, which was ridiculous. That's what he is in the comics. Want Asian heroes? Hell, yes! Greenlight a Shang Chi series. I would eat that up with a spoon. Iron Fist season 2 will kick ass.

Ben Wasserman this version of Iron Fist really blows, and blows big time if you're even a casual fan of Iron Fist comics. I'm no purist but I know what Iron Fist should be. the only highlight is seeing him use his powers in live action.
Different showrunner is a big deal, and now Finn will have had proper time to train for the role to perform better, compared to the 3 weeks he got for IF.

I think Iron Fist is going through the Netflix MCU's version of the "Captain America" effect...Let's face it First Avenger wasn't that great and the character was then shoe-horned into Avengers. But during Avengers the character of Captain America gained traction and popularity which led to a fantastic film "Winter Soldier"....I think the same thing is going on for Iron Fist; first season was underwhelming but I really see the potential for the character in Defenders and from that tailwind will be his Season 2 or the "Winter Soldier" effect
Say what you will about Iron Fist but i'm glad it's being picked up for a season 2. It can hopefully right all the wrongs from the first season and redeem itself.
They need to get a better host for the Marvel Panels. This guy is their boss and he is horrible. Not a host. Keep doing your day job dude and don't do things you can't.
Same. I learned a valuable lesson: don't listen to internet fanboys/grls. I watched DD and JJ and then started LC; could not make it through Season 1 to save my life. Switched over to IF and loved it. It's really all a matter of personal taste, and everything is not going to appeal to everyone or resonate in the same way. I think Mike Colter is a great casting choice for LC, but the show and storylines just don't appeal to me personally. I think far too many people are just way too easily influenced by other people's opinions they read online.

Ben Wasserman this version of Iron Fist really blows, and blows big time if you're even a casual fan of Iron Fist comics. I'm no purist but I know what Iron Fist should be. the only highlight is seeing him use his powers in live action.
Different showrunner is a big deal, and now Finn will have had proper time to train for the role to perform better, compared to the 3 weeks he got for IF.

I believe that daredevil season 2 was honestly one of the best seasons of any show I have watched in a while and honestly should've been nominated for an Emmy or something.....I don't know if anything will pass it.

1. I am excited for this show because I want to see more DD and I want to see crazy action
2. Iron Fist's Ward is by far my favorite character of the show. I was looking forward to seeing him every episode more than Iron Fist himself. Overall the family interested me more than the main hero, but I still enjoyed the show more than I enjoyed JJ and LC

I think Iron Fist is going through the Netflix MCU's version of the "Captain America" effect...Let's face it First Avenger wasn't that great and the character was then shoe-horned into Avengers. But during Avengers the character of Captain America gained traction and popularity which led to a fantastic film "Winter Soldier"....I think the same thing is going on for Iron Fist; first season was underwhelming but I really see the potential for the character in Defenders and from that tailwind will be his Season 2 or the "Winter Soldier" effect

I stayed away from it because of the reviews but watching it recently I can say I actually enjoyed iron fist. Glad its getting another season
Same. I learned a valuable lesson: don't listen to internet fanboys/grls. I watched DD and JJ and then started LC; could not make it through Season 1 to save my life. Switched over to IF and loved it. It's really all a matter of personal taste, and everything is not going to appeal to everyone or resonate in the same way. I think Mike Colter is a great casting choice for LC, but the show and storylines just don't appeal to me personally. I think far too many people are just way too easily influenced by other people's opinions they read online.
@@stormchylde3999 Youre 100% right, some people cant make up their own mind. Personaly, the Netflix shows were the best part of the MCU. Im gonna miss them.
