In two years of filming Khaane Mein Kya Hain, time and again I have thought of coming to Virar to try this unique offering - best had with some liquor - Agashi Bhujing.
This snack is prepared by roasting chicken, mutton, and potatoes with some masalas and topped with some raw poha.
I finally got a chance to taste this and truly, it lived up to all the hype! It indeed was quite delicious.
I recommend you go here as well. In the next episode, I will show you another gem from Virar - so that you can make it a day when you visit here.

I live in Surat and just after watching this episode decided to try this place whenever next i am visiting Mumbai by road. If it doesn't happen within a week or two then specially Surat se jayenge, par jayenge zaroor!
The word " Bhujing " Has come from Agashi and is everywhere now in Rural Palghar District.

This dish Chicken Bhujing aka Poha Kombadi, is so so so tasty and delicious. It is absolutely next level. It is completely different taste n dish with originality. No Chinese, no mughlai no other influence.
I was eating this since more than 20 years now, and i can have this every day.
I am a big fan of bhijing. Have been having it since a long time. The chicken soaked poha and batata are my favourite part of it

Kunal V., I recommend that you try muri ghonto. it's a bengali delicacy made with the head of rohu or Karla and chirwa (poha) . some people do make with rice in place of poha. personally I prefer with poha. if you like fish you would like it. but I would say that it is an acquired taste. but do give it a shot
