I've thought for years that Gunslinger's throwing knife should be bound to Hold Melee, and regular melee should just be a press. As someone who's died plenty of times because I wanted to throw a knife but lunged for a punch instead, I feel like that would solve the problem without needing a separate button for the input which is a problem for controllers.
Zoom factor doesnt both me, per se. Its circular zoom blackout that gets me. I like persuader and apostate for the wider scope, allowing me the peripheral vision to drag-shot like a dog

Cerridius lets you play on his account to drop his elo so his lobbies aren't super sweaty. It's the tradeoff for allowing you to play on his account testing a specific weapon, Win-win!
imo when the zoom is too high there is this moment of unclarity after while aiming down sights, like you have to re-calculate (if thats a word) the opponent and the surroundings. hard to describe but i think some people will understand

The real reason about the zoom is the fact that the scope is based on Shortgaze (my favourite short zoom scope from d1) but instead of importing it accurately, bungie in their wisdom used the Destiny 2 version of shortgaze, which was on a blue or green sniper, and has a super far zoom like pretty much every pre forsaken sniper had.
I found a PVE build that is insanely fun. You will never have to reload. It’s crazy. You pour orbs. Titan. Code of the Missile, so you can slide to pick up ammo and not reload. Actium War Rig for Auto/Machine Gun fills from reserve. 21% Delirium which already reloads when you pick up ammo. Pick your poison on which auto you go with. I have a Steelfeather Repeater 720 RPM with Swashbuckler and Subsistence(The secret sauce). You’re getting that fill from reserve on a kill, you’re killing faster because of swashbuckler. Try it out and melt without reloading.
Was playing crucible on warlock and titan yesterday for the bright dust. never have I been so pissed at how slowly they get verticality. I'm so used to just jumping through windows and shit, and then with warlock, I had to line it up, look up at a steep angle, and fucking float upwards like a butterfly.
Higher zoom on PC is actually super underrated. With higher zoom you have a larger hitbox on the enemy, at the cost of lower field of view. If you are confident in either holding an angle tight enough to see them every time, or scoping in semi-accurately on your target, you get an immense benefit from a higher zoom scope. On console higher zoom different because of aim assist, and how it changes hitboxes, however the same benefits do technically apply.
They gave hunters a half decent melee ability for one season, then nerfed it into oblivion and buffed 4 titan abilities. On a scale of 1-10, how "fuck you bungie" are we feeling today?
i still see people complaining saying the knife is OP. Like, we get one ohko melee, titan gets like, one for each subclass. ours isn't AoE, and they nerfed its aim assist pretty hard it seems. the only upside is it is decently ranged, and if you get the kill, then it instantly regens. but the windup time, and the velocity are both pretty trash, and on top of that, you get a super than can give a maximum of 3 kills, if you're lucky.

Instead of opening shot you want box breathing, as box breathing adds aim assists. With it no active it goes up 10 I think and then when it’s active it sky rockets
so zoom factor has a perceived impact on your sensitivity, which wacks your muscle memory. Essentially, you should get used to one zoom and one sniper and just use that forever until the end of time.
