when i try to uplaod my files i can only upload them into /default and there is only /default/profile_bmkng and i wont let be upload to that profile on its own and when i download it to default there are no mods folders when i upzip. What do i do?
Right? Cuz as of now what I want to do is make my own modpack from ground for me and my friend. No clue how to add server files. Lol Edit : tho they dont anwser from here. You should reach out to thier customer support if its not too late. It has been months.. lol
@@detrix9043 I just manually load them into the server with filezilla and then make my own pack/file that I upload to discord or google drive to have my friends install. the main problem is when mods update, can really be a pain to fix
@@afropuff7142 what i did was drag my mods, config, defaultconfig(if you have it), and your kubejs(again, if you have it): I dragged all those files into my minecraft server but it depends on what website you use to make a server
the server pack I download doesn't give me a mods and config folder upon unzipping instead it gives me an override folder and a html mod list is this normal? if not what should I do to fix this?
@@sindrisyn9345 Im running into the same thing, and what I realized I was doing wrong was uploading the exported profile settings of my modpack to the server, instead of the serverpack. I'm not sure if this fixes it, but the server pack has all the files required it seems. The only difference is it doesn't have the mods I added to the modpack in the first place. So maybe try looking into that, let me know if it works.
i followed the video 100% of the way and when i go to load into the server i get the message saying. "This server required FML/Forge to be installed. Contact your server admin for more details." can you help me fix this as i am the admin and i have forge installed and selected as the version of the server. Do I also need to load minecraft using forge and not a vanilla version ?

im probably late but that means that your not using forge make sure to launch it from your mod loader i recommend GD launcher
Yes, make sure you are loading Minecraft using forge! Also make sure your forge version matches the forge version on your server.
Why do the mods in the mods file get deleted when I go to restart the server after I unzip the file?
wow, this tutorial fucking blows.
HOW is sooooooooo hard!?!
