I find it amusing that something as great as this can still gather negative comments. Are you jealous or just plain ignorant? These ladies (sexual preference, religion, auto road service, etc..should have NOTHING to do with the comments you) are out to have a good time. If you don't have anything positive or nice to say, be quiet. And when you start thinking about what nasty or negatives you plan to write about someone like this take a look at your own life and start your novel You go girls!
I absolutely LOVE an independent lady .... In fact, I married one! Met her in the late 70's, when we were both in the Air Force. She's an Alabama country girl, and I'm a Texas boy from suburbia. I definitely married way up and out of my league! Motor-on, Sisters .... As the Doobie Brothers once sang "Look out, hold on, don't stop to watch the wheels go 'round. Climb on, hold tight, I got a long ride tonight."
I love the trailers. Excluded from the men who think we can't do anything, he supports my vision for restoring a camper for us knowing I'm capable of the man work involved after he saw me install our pool
Can't say as I disagree with her about calling AAA. Being able to pay the AAA membership fee is the action she took to enable her independence! You go girls!
If your married, you are a wife, if you are a mother, you are still a mother, and should conduct yourselves as such. There's nothing wrong with a bunch of ladies meeting up, traveling and having a great time...but to make comments about your husbands and your children as if they don't exist in your life during your travels is completely wrong and frankly if my mother made such a comment about me and my dad...I would be so hurt! Don't get out there and forget who you are!!! Get out there and have fun but keep God and your family at the forefront! Just my 2 cents. 👨⚖️👰👶👶👶
You don’t have to have one! Most of the events are booked at venues that also have cabins or other accommodations for Sisters without their own trailers. A lot of them also have the option of just going for the day which is a great way to check it out and see if you like it. There are over 12,500 Sisters on the Fly all over the country (it’s not just in Texas!) so there are a lot more of events to choose from since this piece first aired in 2010 and it’s much easier to find one close to home.
They’ve changed that rule because it’s been a sticking point for many of us and now the Sisters host many dog friendly events. It’s really up to the hostess who organizes the event and whether or not the venue is dog friendly. The idea of getting away and not having to worry about anyone or anything else is great, but my little dogs and I are a team and the reason I bought a teardrop camper is so I can take them with me on my travels and this is true of the vast majority of people who choose to travel by RV. Estimates range from 20%-90% but the most consistent number I see from informal polls and surveys of people traveling in RVs with pets is around 75%, mostly dogs but around 10% travel with cats or the occasional parrot. This segment first aired in 2010 and Sisters on the Fly now has over 12,5000 members nationwide (it’s NOT just in Texas) and it has adapted as it’s grown to accommodate the needs and preferences of all the Sisters.
The only thing I don't like about it is how they say "I'm not a mother, a sister, or a wife when I'm on the road trip" It just seems a bit immature to just drop all those names as if they're what's holding you down. If you're not mature enough to accept the "mother" "sister" or "wife" name, then you shouldn't have accepted it in the first place.
I love y'all and I think y'all are amazing. I wish I could join you. So happy to see ladies kick ass and taking names this is Awesome
I feel sorry for the sad sacks who left thumbs down. Bless your hearts.
I love it.... Cute camp trailers....Be safe out there now...
Thanks for sharing this,amazing video.

Ha ha, well, I love the idea, but -- hey-- did she say they drink a lot of martini's? And then go? On the road?
