the reason why the traffic there is so heavy is because of the subway construction... they had to re-route traffic from Meralco Avenue (where the subway construction is) to that road cutting through Capitol Commons... that road used to be open and free... oh well... 10 years or so of traffic to bear for progress to happen hehehe... and that sports arena is part of a bigger complex... if you get permission to enter it's gate, behind it is a football (soccer) field and an Olympic-size swimming pool and dive pool... it also used to house the Philippine Fencing Team...

The traffic is scary 😨 there for pedestrians 🚶♂️🚶♀️.
