I love kidding time. I’m off today to fly to meet a new grand baby, who will be born in the next week or two. When I told my very pregnant daughter what I was watching when she called right now, she said, “I think I’ll wait until after my own delivery to watch the goats go through it, Mama.” 😂 Here’s to strong mamas and healthy babies, human and goats!

My dearest DIL invited me to visit when her baby was 11 days new! My son was SO GOOD, helping her with everything but nursing.
It was such a an honor to be invited and to cook, clean up, and pamper my DIL in every way. It really bonded us. ❤️
Now, 7 years later I still get teary-eyed when I think of the ways my DIL and son have included me. 🏡

Love the way you have towels or pads to help clean them off at birth, I HAVE SEEN a channel OR two that just let them be born onto wood shavings, i guess that's alright, but not as clean as how you do it 👍👍👍👍
I agree, to each their own but my personal opinion is Crystal sets the standard for how you should raise an breed goats for a living.

You're so good at what you do and these mamas really depend on you. I know alot of the times they don't even want you to touch and pet them but when it comes to labor and delivery they want you by their side touching and loving and assisting them. But I've always wondered what you did with the towels when the mamas and babies are done with them
