I read 7 books in April! Some of which I had had in my tbr for years! Like 4, 5, 7 years!! (Including the Mistborn trilogy which became a new favourite!) I haven't felt this excited about books for like 4 years now, I'm so freaking happy :)
anime! watching anime these days has been so much fun and the perfect escape tbh. I've commented about this before but will continue to do so bc I think you and Clay will LOVE this series, but if you're interested, watch Haikyuu!!! it's a volleyball anime and SO SO GOOD. shounen anime lovers will love it, i guarantee. (unless you've already watched lol sorry) if you guys do decide to watch, I highly recommend the sub over the dub. not being a sub elitist but I genuinely feel the experience you get with the sub in this anime is superior to the experience the dub provides (have watched both). if you guys want something more action packed, then DEMON SLAYER!!! The OWLS readathon forced a couple of left field books with interesting results. I learned to make cream filled doughnuts. It was time consuming and finicky, which is all I wanted out a recipe. Super messy though when it came to piping the filling. I've also made cream puffs, which were surprisingly easy. ... It's nice knowing That I have the capability to make favorite treats at home!

If you’ve been loving the courtly romance type of books, you should look into the Selection Series by Kiera Cass. It’s like the Bachelor meets the Hunger Games😂 It’s actually a dystopian, but it has a lot of courtly aspects. Haven’t read it in a while but I loved it a few years ago!
I made the coffee cake too 😂 but my husband vetoed the blueberries. Honestly don't skip the blueberries. The topping is 👌🏻 but the bottom is bland without the blueberries. I'm attempting blueberry muffins tomorrow.

DARK ACADEMIA CAFÉ Honestly, they’re really good, but they’re also kind of slow and more of a character study. So, I would chalk it all up to preference. Essentially, if you like the main character and the political intrigue, the pages fly by, but if you’re not interested in that sort of thing, I would assume it would be more of a drag.
Clay is a much better significant other than I am. My boyfriend has been trying to get me to watch Naruto for yearssss and now that we’re in quarantine he keeps saying now is the perfect time for me to watch it. I just can’t get into it!!

The cake pairs well with coffee, so though it doesn’t have coffee in it, it’s good to have while drinking coffee. So it’s called coffee cake.
