Great discussion. Great to see the mentor and student both learning how to give and receive feedback. 😊

Wonderful video! Can’t believe each of these traders are new to their respective positions (Bella’s chair for the left and presenting a playbook for the right) - they both did very well under the pressure. Very interesting to hear their differing perspectives on this specific trade execution.

Incredible trade - some of those entries seemed super difficult. I wouldn't have had the patience to hold for as long as he did. I suppose that's what it takes to beat the markets. It's impressive to see someone do that especially being so new. Great Review and Great Job!

The trainee needs to listen more. The mentor needs to stop being so nice:). Just be blunt and says its a bad trade idea. marketing in and marketing out of a spready stock, with a tight stop during a conference call is not a good idea, is it? IDK?. You need to scale in as the mentor tried to point out nicely multiple times. Focusing on 375 number is madness. if it closes at 376 i assume hes out, but it could still collapse, so you lose by having the right idea, nothing worse!. Thanks for the recap both it obviously not easy to do, i probably wouldn't have done any better:) If fact id probably have longed it!

Great video & discussion. It is very nice from SMB to share this reviews as they are, you can tell is really transparent. It was really funny to see that all the thesis was there, but the trade was completely different from the plan! If somebody from SMB is reading, can you please share if that was indeed a good or bad practice and if this actually how earnings calls are typically traded, meaning: you prepare with a thesis but you actually trade price action and use the thesis for conviction on the long or short position.

The questioning and guidance is almost painful - guys you are technical traders yet there is no mention of candlestick patterns, price action or volume in the discussion. I see a failed retracement where he entered so to me it was a perfect entry. His stop is also in the right place.
I also see an opportunity from the candlestick pattern to get in on the add earlier. Trading is simple and being this intellectual about the process really doesn't help, it is like another indicator that clouds your thinking.

I want to make a statement to all those that are negative trolls in this comment section, remember your first time doing anything hard ? Where you a professional right away ? Did you need to make long hours and dedication to get better at the thing you're trying to get good at ? And how did that go for you ?
As Bella said one is a newbie , the other one tried to coach ( prob first time in Bella's chair ). For a first time they were doing a good job imo , nothing is perfect but they tried that's what counts !
Each time we try we get a little better, as long as the willingness and eager to learn is there this guy will be alright.
But ofcourse it's a waist of my time reacting to all your negativity because all of you commenting negativity are instant billionaire godlike traders that predict every up and down move blindfolded... 🤡

Tbh, you gotta just focus on the price action of the ticker you're trading; Looking at Market/Sector ETFs to gauge how aggressive you should be on your stock is kind of a fool's errand as a Stock-In-Play (by definition) should have significant order flow that allows the stock to trade independent of the overall market. I'm sure this is counterintuitive but it works like a charm!

No nononono, this trade the trainee made was late, he was chasing. Major L
-His attitude wasn’t great either, he didn’t truly ask for improvement on what he could have done better, passive aggressively refuting his tutor’s suggestions/pushbacks. There’s no timestamp on when the news came out that caused the selloff so im going to assume an initial short trade should have been between 385/382.50. Trainee didn’t mention previous day open/high/lows either. You can see with just the price action of one red candle before the initial move erased the progress of the previous 15+ candles. It would have been less stressful trade too.Even at his 377.50 fundamental stop he would have still been fine
The tutor should have been more firm

Sorry I am new here. Have I missed something here? QQQ is tech how does this relate to tractors farm gear and or the DAX German Market and or the debt celling, hay USA just scrape back the celling and give it a new coating of paint and it will pass inspection 🙂. How does AI and John Deere tractors jell? If the idea is to come up with a story to justify a position OK but ... is this a serious analysis?
