Play with TFT Academy on the side. See what components you get and play with an according comp S tier or A tier. Try to level/Pre level on tempo. Charms are big, from stage 5 always roll for charm. If you get a 4 cost at lvl 5 and have items for it a pivot is good as early 4 cost often gives you winstreak if proper pivot is done. Should be easy till emerald. Note, I'm D2 so im not high elo but these are the main things I've learned to climb this set
Best thing to do is figure out your direction by Stage 2 based on the units and items you hit. Items are more important than units in determining direction, as they're much harder to change unless you get Pandora's augment. If you get really good AP items but the game keeps feeding you AD units early on, it's better to slam the AP items on your 2* units and figure out how to pivot into an AP board. Once you figure out what your end-game board looks like and how you can build towards it, you want to get to the level that gives you the highest odds of hitting those units as quickly and healthily as possible while trying to stay above 50 gold (Levels 4&5 for 1-cost hyper roll, Level 6 for 2-cost rerolls, Level 7 for 3-cost reroll, Level 8 for 4-costs). The biggest thing that helped my game is learning how deep to roll for a unit. You don't want to blow all of your econ at once chasing a 3* unless it guarantees a long win streak that will get your money back. If a couple 2* units are enough to keep you from taking huge losses, it's usually better to keep your interest up and slow roll. Best of luck dude! Getting to Gold in one month is solid. Next set is coming soon and nobody's gonna know the best builds for a couple weeks, so it's the best time to learn fundamentals and let them catapult you up the ladder.
