Start meditation by controlling the breath. Say the name of Jesus in all breath and make it as rythm of your breath.. Say Jeeee..... while inhaling and Suuuuuus... while exhaling. Keep on inhaling and exhaling breath like this. East syriac tradition monks practices this. They use name of Jesus in Aramaic (Iesho).. They inhales by chanting (mentally ) ieee... and exhale by chanting shoooo....Soon the Holy and Mighty name of Jesus will become the rythm of your breath...
