Something (in this case the mother) takes it away from her, and here starts the journey of a trubled life, searching for it. Once she faced it, she didn't recognise it... So she spent her life being not happy, pursuing it. She killed her own happiness in this way. Anway, life gives you other reasons and choices to be happy (the baby dragon at the end), but having traumas from your past, you don't even turn your head and look for happiness arownd the corner. This is a great lifelesson movie.

Yet, one day its gone,and when you tried your very best to get it back, you unintentionally ended up killing it, making things irreversibly worst. Life is just too cruel!
i love this video. even though scales died by her best friend kr owner, the girl will still have another one cause scale's baby followed her and itsa gift from scales. we all knkw the girl loves scales and she will hqve scales in her heart forever. thats my comment or reply.
The mother (scales)sniffed and backed off is she hadnt been so selfish ignoring that baby didnt even desire to go with her she probably could have seen it was scales

Scales didnt recognize her nor she did recognize him since it has passed very long time on her journey of searching for Scales....when they both have realize who they are to each other, it was already to late. Mirroring in his blood she saw herself and realized how she grew old meanwhile as on her journey she didnt even notice nor had a sense for time that passed. Its a sad end, but still leaves some hope, since the little dragon survived as we saw, what means theres a good chance to make it up and make her journey worth the time she spent on. Like, to save whats left to be saved, at least.

what an amazing short and fantastic example of what can be accomplished in Blender! the story, camera tracking, lighting, soundtrack, everything were so well executed I was amazed! just shows what can be accomplished using free open source software combined with real creative talent!
La historia es muy bonita ya que comienza con un lazo de amistad entre una humana y un dragon y de como sintel conoció a un dragón herido y que le cambió la vida ya que el dragón antes de que su madre viniera a llevárselo a las regiones frías de este mundo como agradecimiento por haberlo cuidado la marco con una marca que le dio juventud eterna se podía decir ya que ella estaba conectada con el dragón por la marca pero el final de pena porque en el momento que ella y el dragon se enfrentan ninguno de los dos se reconocen hasta que en el último momento antes que sintel le de el ataque final y mortal que mata al dragón el dragón la reconoce por la marca que ella tiene el dragón se queda sorprendido al reconocer a la humana que años atrás le ayudo el dragón detiene su ataque sintel aprovecha este momento para atacarlo y que termina por matarlo al dragón en ese momento que el dragón muere sintel comienza a envejecer rapidamente ella no sabe lo que está pasando hasta que se da cuenta por la marca del dragón en su piel que ella lo reconoce y se da cuenta lo que hizo mientras el dragón viviera ella se mantendría joven por siempre si el dragón muere ella envejeceria y moriría como toda mortal y ella se lamenta por lo que hizo ya que mató a su viejo amigo sin saberlo y comienza a lamentarse y a llorar por lo que hizo el final es muy triste ya que termina en fatalidad tanto para el dragón como para la humana
The problem with comparing software is that you don;t take into considersation the talent factor. A pro with Blender could blow away an amateur with Maya. 3D software means nothing without talent. Blender is not that inferior to the well known apps. And, the fact that it's open source means you can freely add capabilities to it where the expensive apps are all closed source, meaning you have to buy upgrades at the company's leisure. Blender offers the better options. Its pro for free.
How did you make the characters touch each other because that's what I'm working on my Blender animation, but I'm stuck because I dont know how to make that happen?
Maybe because so much time had passed and the girl grew old. So scales didn’t recognize the older woman, just like she didn’t recognize the older scales🤷🏻♀️
If you notice near the end, the girl has some grey hair, who is, now, grown into an older woman. When Scales was taken by the bigger dragon and the girl set off to find Scales, much time had gone by, and Scales became a full-sized dragon with a baby offspring of her own. The woman, thinking the smaller dragon was still Scales, killed the full-grown dragon, then saw the old injury on it's winged claw that was Scales. She mistakenly and heartbreakingly killed Scales and left the baby without a mother. The woman was devastated over her killing the very dragon she was trying to rescue. Her quest left her dilusional, not thinking all the time that had gone by, Scales had grown up and had a baby of her own... A sad case of dilusional mistaken identity.
