Ever get a motor that the sprocket will not come off the clutch shaft. I'm working on my second one right now. The first one destroyed two special tools and I finally had to drill out the Woodruff key and cut the sprocket almost in half to get it removed. It destroyed my sprocket and my clutch shaft. If you know a magic trick to get a stuck sprocket off a clutch shaft I would be very grateful.
They did torque the sprocket bolt really tight but I almost think they put red Loctite on it too. Maybe I'll get a MAPP gas torch and try to get it glowing hot. If there is red Loctite that should help it break free
Are you talking about the clutch shaft or the drive shaft because they were supposed to give you the tool that comes with all engines the tool removes the clutch gear and the drive shaft on the beval gear on the other side that drives the piston up and down your supposed to use the clutch shaft fat ball bearing to remove the beval gear what you do is use the tool lay the motor down on it's side place the ball bearing on in side the beval gear after you remove the screw and then place the ball bearing on where the screw went then screw down the Chinese tool hand tightened and the little bolt slowly screw it inward and it will come loose
@RaoulDuke224 that sprocket will not budge. I've taken several of these motors apart over the years and I've only ran into this problem one other time. In that case I'm pretty sure they put the sprocket on extra tight so no one could get the motor apart and see it was full of defective parts.

I held a blowtorch to it for about a minute and got it as hot as I could and that didn't help. I also soaked it with PB Blaster overnight.
