Strings Oasis | Three Repetitions of Yangguan Song 韶翰琴社 | 阳关三叠

One of China's top ten guqin tunes, this piece dates back to the Tang Dynasty, inspired by Wang Wei's famous A Farewell Song, also known as Weicheng Song or Yangguan Song. The original score was lost during the Song Dynasty, and the current score is based on the zither song passed down through generations. Split into three sections, each with its unique melody, it's called Three Repetitions. With a tone that's both pure and passionate, the music expresses sincere feelings of care and attachment to a departing friend, alternating between excitement and melancholy.
中国十大古琴曲之一，产生于唐代，是根据著名诗人王维的名篇《送元二使安西》谱写而成，又名《渭城曲》、《阳关曲》。原曲谱约在宋代时遗失，现曲谱是根据流传的琴歌改编而成，全曲分三大段，基本上用一个曲调作变化反复，迭唱三次，故称“三迭”。音调纯朴而富于激情，情意真切，激动而沉郁，充分表达出作者对即将远行的友人的那种无限关怀、留恋的诚挚情感。
