Well it is always a journey between what my mind saw and what my hands can do. Usually there are a few new details to work out. But all in all, it's a fantastic adventure.
Awesome! Exactly what I was looking for. Don’t suppose you have a parts list? Mainly that flange you installed in the roof that seals up when you remove the stove. I was looking at a Dickinson P9000, but I’m loving this set up and planned on having a wood burner out side anyways. It’ll go in a pop up truck camper, so I was researching how to make it removable for when the roof is stowed in the down position.
Hey thanks .. the flange is actually called a "deck plate" .. mine is 4" diameter. Got it on amazon .. they're common on sail boats. www.amazon.com/XRC-Plate-Marine-Stainless-Fastners/dp/B08K7CTPTX/ref=sr_1_7?crid=2V9HP0RNXMOKP&keywords=4%22+steel+deck+plate+..&qid=1691452244&sprefix=4+steel+deck+plate+..%2Caps%2C217&sr=8-7. . .. love it. Hope that helps. Living in a truck should be fantastic.
Hey .. good question ..I think it would work. As long as you keep the stove pipe near the ceiling, monitored to less than 400F degrees you should have no problem ... that will make the space very comfortable .. keep an eye on the actual ceiling temp as well as the pipe.... I typically let my ceiling pipe temp reach 200-300F and that makes everything pretty cozy. The 2.76 inch pipe is the same as mine, I used a 5 inch deck plate in my newest van build, because I thought I might want to use a triple walled pipe around the pipe exit area so I could not touch it by accident. Turn out I did not need it. 4 inches give you a bit more wiggle room. I did a more recent vid of my newest van .. this may also help ... th-cam.com/video/RKuRo5cYTtc/w-d-xo.html .... cheers!
Wow .. fantastic vid .. thanks for the info.
I will be doing a follow up vid in a week .. cheers!
You make it look like fun. I wanna play!

where did get the fittings for sealing the roof on the inside and outside
Thanks for reaching out .. I ordered them off amazon... Deck Plate in the inch size you need. Hope that helps. Cheers!
I just got a dweller with the 2.76” chimney. Do you think the 3” deck plate would provide enough clearance for it to pass through?
