these two just stole the series for me. I know I know you guys sidney x charlotte were also a thing but I WAS SHIPPING THIS SO HARD YOU HAVE NO IDEA. and they got their happy ending Austen style. hell yes. they deserve all the happiness in the world...
also I wanted to use their after the first night of marriage scene bc AHHHH but didn't'. but there is always a next time ;)

i find their love story more endearing and captivating than Charlotte and Sidney's,the way Lord Babbington held on to his love for Esther,loving her despite of the circumstances,that's true love

These two were the show for me! I know everyone is freaking out over Sydney and Charlotte but I'm ecstatic because of these two. Spoilers who haven't seen it all.. But I'm just so thrilled that Esther got out of a toxic situation, to a man who absolutely loves her with everything he has. All the while, also getting a title and being the sole heir to her aunts fortune. And for Lord Babington, the true MVP of the series, he never wavered. He saw Esther for exactly who she was. While everyone was like damn, Esther, is dark and only cares about money, he was like she is sunshine, she is rainbows, she is everything! I'm hoping for a season 2 so I can watch happy married couple scenes and Esther falling in love with him and telling him that. And possibly a little babington baby!
I'm with you on this one, I've had a happy smile on my face ever since the last episode aired. All I cared about was Esther and Babington, without them I would never have finished Sanditon. Unfortunately Sidney and Charlotte didn't appeal to me at all. It made me so happy to see the man, who was nothing but kind, considerate and respectful, get the woman of his dreams. As for Esther - she deserved to have a man love HER and not just the prospects of what she might bring financially. If there is a second series I'd love to see more of Lord and Lady Babington, they are adorable!
I love how Esther liked him but was holding herself in check, not wanting to be too hopeful because after all she has the experience of being in love with an unsavory creep and does not want to repeat that. Lady Deniham turns out to be a better person than it first appeared and is smart about Esther's true nature that isn't apparent to others or perhaps even Esther herself. Her situation was so toxic you can not blame Esther for being cautious and perhaps second guessing herself. Bravo for this couple.
I cried during movie and even when I watch a trailer of these two. He is what men should be, gentle, pursuing, giving. I love how he respected Esther enough to melt her heart from how cold it was. Best love story ever!
Who knew it was always about Esther and Lord B. not Charlotte and Sydney

I LOVE these two so much they deserved that ending more than I can ever put into words ESPECIALLY Esther my heart broke for her when she was talking to her sickly aunt I wanted the best things for her away from her ‘brother’ and I wanted her to finally be happy without any worries and doubts and babs did exactly that he stood by her he didn’t try and force his affections on her he gave her time and space but he also never tried to hide how felt about her and now I’m crying 🥺🥺🥺 I couldn’t have asked for a better ending for these two
