3:08 French expression 'hors d'oeuvres'... Wow, as a native French speaker I am impressed to hear that expression from an American -- unless you are a food and cooking aficionado in addition to being an avid motorcyclist and a professional filmmaker. Makes your very interesting videos even more attractive. Thumbs up! Félicitations!
Still can't believe you don't have 100K+ Subscribers - one of the best at what you do....look forward to this coming Saturday for the WYBDR launch and what you did with the footage...always a great job - thanks for sharing!!!!
Thanks Sterling you’re a real cinematographer - amazing scenes and perspectives! Watching on my brand new iPhone 13 with OLED screen it’s simply stunning! Thanks for sharing the tracks - I’ll hop over to your site. Good you can have a chill van trip. 👌🏼🌵 Greetings from SoCal!
Yes, you need to watch for trains on that track. It's active but limited for what I believe is a mining operation. I've seen a train on it while hiking the Arizona Trail, which is across the river from where you were. That is a beautiful area, thanks for sharing your outing!
Next time you are starting the fire wrap a potato in foil (shiny side in) and leave it in for about 1/2 hour then turn it. When you get down to the coals and everything is done cooking it should be ready. Usually takes 45 min to an hour in total. Open it up, drop in some butter or sour cream and will go nicely with the steak.
Hello Sterling, I have been watching your movies from way back and loving every single minute of filming you put out. I have one question: What is the size of that Opinel knife you use?? I don't think its a size 8! Is it the #12? It is not on your product list. Thank you again for all those fantastic videos/movies. Where is your cocktail lady? Cheers
Thanks for another great video. While I don’t camp and don’t have a van, I love seeing the desert scenery that’s so different from the Appalachians where I live and ride. Also, your cinematic style is very calming, and almost meditative. Thanks again.
Awesome video and atmosphere as usual Sterling, it has been so cool to follow you adventures and the fun thing that we share interests, adventure riding and the van life. For me living in Scandinavia it is a great way to keep going thru the different seasons. Keep it up, love you inspiring videos and narrative!
Great video Sterling, always enjoy watching , and also experiencing this kind of adventure myself ,sometimes with Celine, my wife. I passed by Jonquil the other day and left my card with number to a nice lady. Ill be back home in march but if you pass by south of Montreal someday, give me a call! Happy adventures in 2022.
Thanks again for all your great videos. I noticed you're sportin a Opinel knife. Haven't noticed it in previous videos. I got a few of those. They're a great value. Cheers from Tacoma.
Thanks for taking us on another type of camping journey. I finally caught up after traveling on our own journey outside the US for the past little bit.
Gracias por su vicita a bahia tortugas baja california sur aqui les espero de nuevo su amiga johana escarlet en taqueria Y loncheria De las altas torres
i stayed out there for two wk. periods maybe 15 yrs ago.....painting pix....saw no-one and loved the view....a train hauling huge copper ingots came by one night , so no , don't camp on the tracks......this was before the current van life nonsense , i was driving an old dodge van , 2wd ......... i've not been back , so it was nice seeing the spot again
Like I said many times before, love the quality of your production. I think my favorite shot in this one was after you poured the wine in your glass and had the light on you with the with the dark dark background behind you. Super cool. Always ready for the next adventure.
Thanks for another great video Sterling. Even though I'm more of an adventure biker than a van camper, a van definitely has some advantages and creature comforts, viz.regulated temperature - no cooking in the heat with riding gear/helmet. Less energetic, especially when having to lift a bike after a mishap/put-down. One can take a lot more things with in a van. Better insulation/protection from the elements and security while sleeping inside a van vs a tent, especially out in wilds of Africa.

Sterling, you sure can capture where ever you are at with precision. Your skills are quite evident. Thanks Pal.
Me And My Royal Enfield left my house the Phoenix for the last time 45 weeks ago, but you just made me a little homesick. Thanks for taking us along.
You are a lucky man to live in such a beautiful country.
Thanks for featuring southern Arizona where I live. Giving me some ideas!
This river is so beautiful,😍😍😍 and a good plan to camp too,🤭🤭
I wish you would make these longer. Very enjoyable.
I’m speechless. Those nighttime shots are unreal. I want to go van camping right now… the oil lamp, the steak, the wine, all of it!
I do really like the oil drain pan idea for a fire and cooking, I will have to implement this in my kit. Thank you✌🏼
Steak looks yum 😋 - Hoosier Rider

Two months is too long. I need more of your videos.

relaxed and meandering. Love it, not enough of this kind of off road travel happening, on two wheels or four. Kudos to you.
As per your standard, outstanding cinematography. We've camped in that area before, & crossed the Gila river there, too, in our UTVs. Good times.
Great video.
Outstanding filming as always and another spot added to my list to visit in my home state.
Thanks for sharing, enjoyed thoroughly.
Always Awesome Sterling !!! I dig your style, but also do like the bike rides you take us on too

When was this filmed please, most likely take the bike there when in get back from Thailand :)
