I lived in St Ann's back in the mid 50s, at 42 Ashley Road. I went to Heyhouses Junior School. I sailed my toy yacht in the boating pool. The entrance to the pier had a penny arcade where I lost a few pennies now and again. It was a wonderful time and a wonderful place.

Been to St Annes a few times and it has a very upper class snobby posh vibe about it, not least because of the area's expensive property prices, but being such a place know doubt keeps out all of the riff raff from Blackpool. Never seen those photos before. What was that "Unmarried" sign all about at the 0:21 mark?.
