Will it look like two separate buns or does it all flow together to look like one in the end?
As long as you pin the buns close together and pinch and pull all the little loops, it will look like one big bun 😊

I just curled it with my ghd classic curl tong, making sure I alternated the direction for each curl 😊

The twists or just pull the buns so they look big and fluffy?
Hi lovely! I would still pull the hair out, but obviously these curls will be long. I would then wrap the top of the loose curls around a Bobby pin to make them shorter and pin them into the sides and bottom of the bun. Hope that helps? 😘
Does it matter where you pull the strands from when twisting? Whether it’s from the inside or the outside? I couldn’t tell

My hairs thick and normal Bobby pins never work, is there a thicker Bobby pin I could purchase? If there is what would it be called.
Hey! Always get professional Bobby pins, mine are from Sallys. When putting them in, don’t open them….this way they’ll only catch as much hair as they can hold and will be much more secure. Also, try cross crossing the pins for extra grip ❤️

That’s odd….the one in the video is bumble and bumble, but Moroccan oil is another great choice ❤️
I tried to do this and it looked awful. It looks like 2 buns and cris cross twisted pieces. Not easy. 🤦♀️

Is it possible to do this technique using a hair donut?
Yes you could pop a small hair doughnut between the two ponytails....or if you have long long hair you’d get away with doing only one ponytail with a doughnut x

No need for third ponytail, just pin it in the gap between the two ponytails and use both ponytails to cover the padding 🙂
