  • A Documentary made by BBC after the assassination of the Egyptian President Mohammed Anwar El - Sadat. The film tries to present a" Judgmental \ Analytical" Study about Sadat Regime, and how his policies "mainly the Opening Door Policy " had affected - positively and negatively - on the Egyptian Economy and also the life of the ordinary Egyptian Citizen. The Documentary tries to trace the consequences of Sadat's policies, and did he really try to find innovative solutions for a lot of critical economic and social problems, or this admitted success was a fake one made by the Propaganda of the Media Machine " especially the American ones"?

    When the BBC had integrity, reporting on events rather than creating & sensationalising them.

      if Sadat is still today alive and adopts his non visionary regime, Egypt may be today a nonsense, however, Today we live in a total and undefined nonsense

      Akram Youssef I love Egypt and its people. As long as you have dictators you will never be free. You need a secular, republican visionary to free the people and promote economic growth. I pray you get one soon. There must be unity in Egypt. Democracy is almost as bad as dictatorship, where the majority can vote to take away the rights of all. God Bless Masr!

      @Monjiaitaly Arab governments need to practice real democracy and not kleptocracy, Also they need to be secular.

    Wondering though all believes are somehow different and might be totally denied, neglected and refused among each other yet there are huge publication for each one then the question is"how would human have logic and way to compile such huge prints about there respective believes which are not at all accepted by others who are confirming that others believes are WRONG!!!!

    Sadat had the right idea but corruption in Egypt ruined everything
    He also shouldn’t have wasted time trying for an impossible resolution to the Palestinian problem

    They brought an actress to portrait housing crisis! Best example of Egyptian nepotism and fakery.

    • @Nightingale61
      @Nightingale61  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is not Fakery.... Abla at this time was not an actress as now, but she had worked as a librarian .... Regardless of Abla and her speech about the housing crisis, I recommend for you read Dr. Miliad Hanna's book "Housing and Politics الإسكان والسياسة", published by The General Egyptian Authority for Book الهيئة المصرية العامة للكتاب , and you will find it was not fakery.....regards

    It's a pity there's no Anwar Sadat around today in the mid-east If men like Sadat and Rabin were around today the mid-east might be different

    • @bloodreaver6097

      Oh Sadat was just the same as Mubarak, and of course Sisi... A greedy individual using his country as a private farm for personal glory, with a complete disregard of his people's needs and rights... Corruption, lies, greed and lack of transparency are the traits of the Egyptian system since 1952 even... We're currently witnessing the outcome of the leadership of individuals like Sadat... So, I'd say that the region would've been much more different if it wasn't for men like Sadat and the rest of the militants who enjoyed raping Egypt over the years... Did we even watch the same video...

      All the mess we are in is because of Sadat.
