I love washing these and hearing you chat about the book you are repairing. I'm wondering if you have a technique for repairing a broken binding on a paperback where the book is now split into thirds?
I never heard of the book but the way you talk about the story I will put it on my tbr and look for it either in the library on the used book store. You know how I love my Tudors.
I've been wanting to read The Faerie Queene for a while but I need an edition that's a bit more helpful than the penguin one (although I do love those black penguins). Is there a widely available edition you can recommend?
If anyone still wants to know, Hackett Publishing has a five-volume edition (Books III and IV are combined in one volume) with helpful notes at the bottom of each page. It's the most beginner-friendly edition in print.
I have a book which's glue in the spine is giving up and the pages are together in three bunches detached from the cover. Teaches one not to crack the spine.

I don't know why these are so interesting but they are. I get a mug of coffee and sit and relax while watching these book repairs. And I love it!
