I saw Yes in concert Nov 15, '72 The Close to the Edge tour, I was 18 and the show changed me as a person. I left there feeling that something awesome just happened. I was a Yes fan before but afterwards I couldn't get enough Yes music. Then Yes released Topographical Oceans and Relayer and in my mind they ascended into a realm known only as Yes. I have loved them for over 40 years.
I became a fan in 1977 Yes in the Round tour in the Houston Coliseum. Not many understand my passion for this band but as an older woman now I thought that I would love to have And you and I played at my Going Home ceremony...if you love Yes you really love Yes...Forever fan and it makes me so sad that they are at the end of their journey as are most of us in that era

Os teclados e a voz de Jon ... simplesmente mágicos!!! Garoava, e aos primeiros acordes dessa música o céu se abriu e a lua se fez presente envaidecida com o som que inundou o Rock in Rio... inesquecível!!!! Obrigada YES!!!

I remember when Relayer was released it immediately played in full on our local late night underground radio station in Kansas City... we were up all night partying and this song came on... we were all blown away... twisted up some more doobies and kicked back. It remains a great album, a great band... with or without Wakeman.

Just remember that Soon close a terrible tour-de-force of the group after the Gates Of Delirium, it's needed this peaceful tune. Our nerves were on the verge after 18 minutes of sonic explosion. Yes drive us over a demonias and feverish travel, but beautiful and captivating. It's a very simple tune that relieves our soul and emotions. A relief.

Way ahead of their time. Listen to the harmonics produced by Steve Howe and how they change up so quickly and tight with the others. Steve Howe is one of only 2 guitarists to ever be voted into the Gallery of Greats. The other is Steve Morse of the Dregs (also SMB, Kansas Deep Purple). The 2 of them did an acoustic set together that was magic.
I'm not contemporaneous of this music, but I got this album when I was a kid in Mexico, I like it a lot since and brings me to the good times just to listen it again.

I was 13 - 14 when I first heard this, on a cassette, in the middle of the night, under a tree by a lake. Camping with school friends. Now 58 this piece of music still moves me in ways very few pieces of music can.

My Favorite of all Yes "Tunes" (within so many other masterpieces of raw-talent) Alan's drumming here is some of the best I've ever heard - It was my pleasure to see them on my b-day (24 Sept, 1984, Irvine Meadows, CA) & Jon on a sole gig in the early 80's (Westcoast, FL - St Pete or maybe Clearwater ???)
