This was one of the best episodes you guys made. Your new "wide view" format was an excellent decision 👌 I would love more episodes where you share your opinion (and predictions) on industry moves, not just SEO.
Interesting discussion. Keep it going! As for AI not needing websites, and relying on social media/forums instead: I don't think that will work. If you know an industry well, it quickly becomes clear that social media is full of low quality content. It's not in-depth or incorrect, or both (of course there are exceptions). Lot's of beginners thinking they know what they're talking about, but they're not. It's incomparable with a website managed by someone with 10+ years of full time experience in the topic. That is the source you'd want as an AI, and as a serious beginner in the topic. Living a topic and creating content about it takes time and effort and should be rewarded somehow. Without experienced people, the internet and AI will deteriorate quickly. Everything and everyone would be repeating the same basic and partly false information. Nor AI, nor hobbyists, will be testing 100 air purifiers and offering detailed conclusions about it :-)
This video is scary. No offence guys. You have made me contemplate on lot of things. I am working on blogging website as a side gigs and I have been working on it for many days, but after watching your video I am thinking of just quitting. It’s a bit of reality check for me. May be I have to convert that website into an e-commerce website (let’s see what happens). AI is helping us in so many ways and it makes sense what you have discussed because I can see my searching behaviour changing and I can relate with that. In my opinion, Google is not going to give up that easy and content is going to remain the KING. Loved your video and I look forward to seeing more content.
Such an eye-opening video! So, what should we do as content publishers? Is there really an end to blogging? Do you think we have a chance to engage with social platforms and drive traffic to our sites? I believe we would need to pay to play on social platforms
@@dturner73 no, they don't... you don't know what I am talking about.... it's conspiracy, these two guys are so mainstream that have no clue what I am talking about too... they don't mention that google is not what people think it is etc.. so, you are as clueless as they are....
I may create an app that provides streaming podcasts. If the app also gets or provides email services, then the app, not me, knows if there is a daily subscription for a health-related website. The app can then ask the microservice for podcast recommendations and get ads related to the newsletters one is subscribed to. I of course have not access to the email nor do I know what subscriptions one has ... the app is selecting the category of ads based on what the app perceives is of interest. Likewise If they add notifications for authority hackers podcast, they would be most interested in SEO and marketing related ads ... although looking at the ads TH-cam has on the side of this page, there are not a lot of SEO adverts ... I'm seeing marketing/persuasion ads though. I guess the app could just look at what ads are displayed on youtube for a podcast then use those types of ads. I believe the meta data for your podcast already has marketing for people to find the podcast ... btw, that is also the advertising signal.

Thanks, we enjoyed doing this style of episode too. What topics would you like us to cover in future?

Great video as always. Please do not stop this level of quality.

Look at GBP registration process. Its states it doesn't want middle person sites, pretty much, you need to be the source.
Is nice to see you together after a while
Excellent, ty guys!
Great video ❤ on point.
What about Directory websites? Would you consider that type of site to be a middle-person site?
Good stuff. Loved the insights

Can I get an update from you? 😳
This is huge and makes me rethink a lot of things
Ok, but too late I think.
Too late now..All small blogs are destroyed already.
I wonder if we could create something with the structure of an e-commerce site
Disappointing video for people that may watch it believing that Affiliate Marketing's future is the core theme
