2012 versus GA was the most epic game ever. The whole stand was moving, it was truly the most incredibly loudest game ever. Especially after the first TD
I'm a Clemson fan but most of all i love college football and i have to admit going to see football games at Williams Brice is also a lot of fun..Great environment.
For anyone wondering: this was the 2017 Kentucky game. The most recent williams brice sellout. We then proceed to muschamp it up and lose. It’s been much louder than this, trust me :)
I'm a true Michigan fan through-and-through, but I lived in downtown Columbia South Carolina for five years, my brother and my nephew are also USC alumni, it's not the big house but they are pretty loud and crazy down there, they are definitely loyal to their team whether they win or lose their there to support them, true fans, Go Cocks!

I was at this game! Traveled over from Lexington. Not a fun game for the boys in Blue, but unbelievable atmosphere. Wish there was a clip of sandstorm right before kick off. That was the loudest I have ever heard a stadium get! Chills thinking about it.
Fun trivia: I don't know if they're still doing it, but when I lived in Columbia 1997-2004, they used to blare the rooster crow, the opening of "Also Spracht Zarathustra," and the USC fight song, just like here, from a building downtown, THREE TIMES A DAY. 8 am, noon, 5 pm. Seven days a week. I worked one block from that building and heard it every freaking day five days a week for seven years. I used to only half-jokingly call it the "call to prayer."
I played at Carolina in 1986,our opening game against Vinny Testaverde and the Miami Hurricanes was absolutely the loudest that Williams Brice ever shook!
Not the loudest. Loudest was 1984 Carolina vs Florida state, Gamecocks won 38-26. I was there, the top deck was moving. Used to be a saying, “ If it ain’t swaying, we ain’t playing.” Go Cocks
I’d agree the 2012 UGA game was epic, but I think one game that would rival the 2012 UGA (at least pregame) would be the 2001 USC/UF game (Blackout & ESPN College Gameday). Lou Holtz & Steve Spurrier (at UF). Truly an electric pregame.
How many of y'all think that the visiting team should already be on the field by the beginning of our entrance? It's very distracting to have them coming onto the field during the entrance or at the end. It takes away from the pomp & circumstance of our Gamecocks. Bah humbug!!
