Would have liked to have had a longer solo at the end...would have made it even more fucking mega than it already is...
If they play it live, I can easilly see the solo in the end extended to a 3-minute outro.

As a guitarist/singer, I have SO much respect for finishing an idea years later. And also not forcing it before it was “ready” on a series of about seven records. Slow burn, worth the wait, thanks.
ALSO- Dave’s bandmates had a running joke about this album, not far from Dr Pepper trolling GNR’s Chinese Democracy. The bandmates agreed that if Dave officially finished Seven Corners, they would each give him a thousand dollars. When he did, the bassist Nate gave him a Green Egg instead. Which kicked off Dave’s quest for perfect barbecue, and he rapidly upgraded from Nate’s Green Egg.

After the colour and the shape and nothing left to lose, I thought the foos would grow into the next Pink Floyd, and it’s because of shit like the last 30 seconds of this song… but they aren’t interested in that part clearly as they just fade it out. But it’s the best part. It always frustrated me about them. Take the last thirty seconds of this song and make that the focus, as soon as they get to the soul they fade it out every time for thirty years. But that’s why the masses love ‘em also

I love the Foos but honestly this is way better than the whole Sonic Highways.
I love Foos , and this recording is ok , but it's not great compared to some of the stuff they've done over the years. I do believe Dave is showing signs of running out of the really great material he churned out for so long. Nothing since Wasting Light has been in the same class.
